I have two other Wintec saddles and have recently gotten into Endurance Riding. I bought these and was not disappointed! The saddle is very comfortable and fit both regular and more narrow horses. The knee rolls were my favorite part of this saddle. They really hold your leg in place and work very well when going down steep hills or cantering long distances. I would highly recommend. You definitely get what you pay for, and the price is very comparable to other brands of Endurance saddles on the market. ... show more

Saddle is well made, very comfortable and light weight. The interchangeable gullet system is wonderful and it's great to have a saddle that can fit various horses. The saddle comes with a medium gullet but I needed a wide so I had to order it separately. It was easy enough to change and there is a video on YouTube that walks you through the process. ... show more

Tried a few saddles to find one that is comfortable for me and my 13 hand Kentucky Mtn Pony with high withers. This saddle fits perfect and has added safety for the rider. INCREDIBLY nice saddle. Let me tell you all the ways I love it. I've spent a fortune trying to find the perfect tack for my horses, a sort of necessary trial-and-error process. In my mind, well-fitting tack is crucial to keep them healthy, adn that is my duty to my horses, and I'm more than happy to spend money on tack instead of on vet bills. So I have a wall full of saddles by now, primarily from Barefoot Saddles, Wintec/Bates and Collegiate. I ride dressage, but also lots of trail-riding to build the horses mentally and physically so my criteria: # light-weight (any unnecessary weight on their back to be removed) # airy = cool during hot days and tough rides # adjustable, so they fit at all times: all horses change with training, age, potential weight-changes: As I have several Wintec/Bates I can easily measure the gullet they need, and adjust accordingly without having to get a completely new saddle/saddle-fitter to come out (also use the tree-less Barefoot saddles for this purpose too, in-between). Can be passed on and used on different horses. # assist with a correct seat: The wrong saddle will make you fight for a correct seat at all times. No one can ride well without first having a correct seat, and if you're not riding well, the horse cannot move well, if the horse isn't moving well with a rider, they'll turn unsound in one way or another. # adjustable for the rider too (stirrup-placement and support) # not have to worry about the padding/fill, which here is air I have a $4000 Wintec/Bates dressage saddle, which is great, but it's a little too heavy and hot for our very round, low-withered, short-backed Arabian-mix. This saddle is absolute heaven for her and for me. I got the 16.5 inches, it's the perfect length for her back, give good clearance, air-filled, switched to the x-wide gullet (done very quickly and easily), it's very light-weight and we've been flying on the trails and up the hills. She's snorting, relaxing and stretching. And I have had something of an epiphany in this saddle when it comes to a correct seat, it's very, very good - AND, you can, I haven't yet, move the placement of the stirrups, as well as the knee-support. It's truly something out of my dreams. This is truly THE best saddle I've ever tried. And just because I've been searching and testing for so long, for the comfort and happiness of all horses out there, let me just say, with this saddle I got the Wintec Anatomic Elastic Girth with CAIR, and the ECP 3D Air Ride Pad All here on Amazon, for easy returns. Just to purchase from Horse.com, however, their return policy sucks. Don't hesitate, get this saddle, you will NOT regret it. Your horse will love you for it. ... show more
