I used this material to reupholster 6 bar stool cushions and now the cushions look brand new. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because the material came folded (as opposed to rolled) and there are serious creases where the material is folded. My advice: (1) place a bath towel on top of your ironing board; (2) set the iron to a low-to-medium setting and with steam (you want to err on the side of not too hot so the material doesn't melt); (3) before proceeding, I would cut and test a small piece of material (face down on top of towel) to make sure the temperature setting on the iron is not too hot that it melts the material (and adjust the temp of the iron accordingly); (4) place the material face down on top of the towel (so that finished side is face down); (5) gently but quickly go over the creases with the iron and steam until the creases flatten out. Do not move the iron too slowly or press to hard or you will melt the material. If you set the temp on the iron too low and it is not working, gradually increase the temp setting on the iron until the creases start coming out. If your iron has a steam function, adding a few bursts of steam seemed to help. But remember to not press down to hard and keep the iron moving! ... show more

We have been in business for over 30 years and usually order fabrics or vinyl from our Vendors. Vinyl comes on a roll because most vinyl is damaged if folded. I NEEDED a job to be finished ASAP so I took the chance and ordered here. The vinyl was folded EXCEPT it wasn’t pressed tight. It was a rolled fold (not a crisp fold). I am always looking for new suppliers for Faux / Vegan Leathers, especially black. This specific product is great. It has a leather-like texture to it, it is soft and subtle, sews easily, has a black backing (not fleece), so it can be left raw-edged when needed. I shall indeed order more.
