Update 9/16/23. The seller was very attentive to my concerns and made everything right with my order. I purchased this is April 2023. I'm a quadriplegic and this is used on my patient lift to transfer me from my wheelchair to my hand cycle. I weigh 205 pounds. The only thing it has ever lifted is me. Now here we are less than 5 months later and the seal around the pump shaft is leaking and dripping oil on the floor. Other observations on this product include: the ram is not chrome plated and even in low humidity it has started to rust. It takes a huge amount of pumps to extend the RAM. It's about 18 inches from my hand cycle up to my wheelchair and it takes about 80 pumps to move it that distance. Item was as expected when buying the cheapest air assisted ram. Initial fit and finish is rough. The ram is 30mm (1.17 in) when measured. The holes do fit 5/8, and are a bit oversized. The bottom flange is on a swivel. Item appeared as if it would work fine when I first tested it. I then removed and resealed all of the poorly taped air fittings, and opened and greased the air cylinder. As expected, grease was dabbed throughout, but not effectively. I lubed the system and reassebled it. The jack then worked without issue. ... show more

Needs some wd40 to aloe it to lower steadily. Gets stuck without it. Needs to be stabilized. I made to tubes out of conduit and bolt them through the top and spread them like a tripod to stabilize it.

Seems like a pretty good replacement ram for my shop crane. It was very low on hydraulic jack oil when it arrived which was rather frustrating . I had to drive 11 miles each direction to town and back. That and I had to go to 3 different places to find some jack oil for it. But it works as it should. Just didn't expect to have to spend a hour and a half driving and looking for the oil . ... show more
