This did not work for us at all. It's somehow even LONGER than regular pacifiers. Why you'd make it smaller but longer is beyond me. Much longer than my baby's thumb. She gagged anytime she started to use this pacifier. For the price, I was disappointed and expected better. My baby was small at birth, not even preemie, and had trouble with the size and length of every pacifier. I bought this thinking that a preemie pacifier would be downsizing from the regular ones, but the length (2 full millimeters longer than the shortest pacifier we had, I wanted to measure to help yall in case you needed the same thing I did) is prohibitive. However, if you're looking for something with less bulk but more length, (ha!) then the quality of this one is pretty good. Worth the money?.....Ehhh. I don't think so, personally. I hope this is helpful to some, I know how frustrating it is and how desperate you can feel trying to find something to soothe your little one. ... show more

This is really for a very premature baby. My granddaughter was just under 6lbs after coming home and the hospital ones were too big but this was way too small. Definitely meant for a much smaller baby. I returned it strictly because it was way too small.

Baby isn’t preemie, but standard newborn pacifiers gag him so I ordered this in hopes that it would work, but he gags on it because although the nipple is more narrow (it’s tiny!), it’s still too long and gags him.

These are hospital grade and packaged as such. As a retired NICU RN I can tell you it is very important to start little tube-fed babies out with something small to begin practicing their suck reflex. I ordered mine for my 34 week granddaughter who was in the NICU. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see her in person and only got information filtered through her parents so wasn't sure if these would work. Apparently they had already started using much bigger pacifiers ( poor thing!) so I had to send mine back. I would have donated them to the NICU but they won't take anything from outside the hospital due to COVID. ... show more

This is literally the smallest pacifier. If you’re baby is incredibly small, it may work. It’s thinner than a standard pencil. It has two parts so not that easy to clean.
