Wonderful substitute...brought me closer to my male style mountain bike which was just a bit too long for a smaller sized woman.....easy to install and did not need to extend any existing cables....I added extenders on which I rest my elbows when in forward position....so comfortable now....can sit upright to pedal which is so much more efficient on level ground. Nice finish which I thought I would cover with tape when ordering as I thought I preferred black .....but after install I like it better than my old black bars. ... show more

They are standard size handlebars and fit my jaguar frame perfectly. The gear switch and hand brakes aren't too long or too short. Now I don't have to hang over my bike like I did with my mountain bike handles, I can ride sitting up. It's a life changer. I got this to transform my GT Backwoods mountain bike into a comfort cruiser. Easy install, quality pipe. Perfect shape, length, and angle for what I wanted. Im 6' tall with extra long arm reach, and these allow me to sit upright comfortably. If course I had to relocate the brakes and shifter, new cables, but that's fun! ... show more

Bought these handlebars for my wife to replace her traditional mountain bike handlebars. Basically converted her mountain bike into a beach cruiser! She was experiencing significant wrist pain when riding due to the unnatural angle traditional handlebars place on the wrists. She was on the verge of quitting riding since we hadn't found a solution to her wrist pain, until we found these handlebars. She now loves riding again. Very relaxed more natural riding position.
