🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

This specialized tool has been widely praised for its effectiveness in scraping out hard-to-reach places in blenders, particularly under the blades where typical spatulas cannot reach. Users appreciate its ability to reduce waste by efficiently removing thick smoothies, shakes, and even sticky substances like peanut butter and almond paste. While it is notably useful for Vitamix owners, some find its price point relatively high for a simple piece of plastic.

Pros

  • 👍 Perfect for getting the last bits out from under blender blades
  • 👍 Especially effective with thick substances like smoothies and shakes
  • 👍 Well made and durable
  • 👍 Designed to fit between and under blades where ordinary spatulas cannot

Cons

  • ❌ Considered expensive for a piece of plastic
  • ❌ Not a significant improvement for cleaning after liquids compared to common silicone scrapers
  • ❌ Some users found it not overly effective with extremely sticky substances

Should I Buy It?

If you frequently use a blender and struggle with removing all the contents, particularly from a Vitamix, this tool could be a significant convenience, despite its price. It's especially recommended for those who value reducing waste and ensuring they can access every bit of their blend. If the cost doesn't deter you, it's a worthwhile investment for making the most out of your blender.

  • Perfect tool
Color: Gray Size: One piece
This was the perfect tool for my blender. Have trouble getting the last bits of smoothies and shakes out from under the blades of the blender? No problem with this tool.

  • Works well..
Color: Gray Size: One piece
Pretty expensive for what it is but if you have a Vitamix you've already accepted the expensive part. It is well made and allows you to get everything out of the blender. Gets everything hiding under the blades and works great the get those thick smoothies moving rather than waiting for gravity...

  • useful but not a game changer
Color: Gray Size: One piece
It's less difficult to remove food from the bottom of a Vitamix using this tool than any other I've tried. But I won't say it's easy. That's the only advantage. I don't make smoothies so I don't know if it's any use for cleaning up after that. Seems to me a common silicone scraper is fine for liquids. But when I'm making sesame butter for example, I think there's less waste at the bottom if I use this tool. Almond paste is so sticky that I'm not sure this product helps scrape it out of the jar, or if it does help it's not by much. Also, this scraper is kind of expensive considering I can get ordinary silicone scrapers for $1-$3. But these do get under the blade if you want to do that, and sometimes I do. ... show more

  • Which is it? The picture shows a tamper holder but the description is for a scaper.
Color: Gray Size: One piece
Since the blades in the Vitamix don't really come out (I know you can buy a wrench to remove them) it is difficult to get out the last bit of a thick drink like a milkshake. Peanut butter is even worse. This scraper doesn't really do much. I think some other kind of spatula or Iced tea spoon or such would work just as well. ... show more

  • It works!
Color: Gray Size: One piece
Hard to imagine writing a review for a piece of plastic, but given that it solved an otherwise annoyingly intractable problem, I felt it was the right thing to do. I was talking with Vitamix product support and happened to ask if there was some secret trick to getting the last bit of stuff out of the cannister - you know, the stuff that's under the blade, They said "yeah - we have the perfect tool for that." The price was right. But more importantly, the thing really does work perectly, It is designed to fit between the blades, slide underneath . THere is no spatula that can do what it does. I HIGHLY recommend this little thing. ... show more

  • Works ok but extremely expensive for a piece of plastic
Color: Gray Size: One piece
OK for its intended purpose but outrageously overpriced for a 10 cent piece of plastic

  • great for cleaning that last bit of smoothie out of cannister
Color: Gray Size: One piece
The curved side fits in the cannister grooves fairly well enough to scrape the last bit of thick residue stuck to the sides. Better than a spoon and it can reach under the blades fairly well if there is thick fruit or veggie you need to scrape out.
