I’ve used similar storage bags in the past but these are incredibly well designed and well built. The fact it comes with a wireless vacuum device makes it an incredible system.     • Handy for light-duty storage
I think these bags are primarily intended for travel, i.e., you fill one of the bags with clothing, seal it, and attach the included vacuum pump to pump out the air. That reduces the volume and makes it possible to cram more stuff into a suitcase. My problem with that is that this works beautifully for the trip out, but if you want to have the same compression for the trip back (assuming you've opened those bags), you'll need to take the vacuum pump with you. It's not a huge addition to your suitcase, but you still need to pack it, make sure it's charged, etc. Also, the little pump has so far been much less effective at getting all the air out of the bag than my household vacuum (a Dyson). These bags will go completely flat with the Dyson; the pump leaves maybe 40% of the air volume in the bag. Instead, I'm traveling with standard compression luggage cubes (the ones with the double zippers) and using these bags to store out of season clothing and to protect fabrics, yarns and other fiber supplies. It works well for those, although I have noticed that a couple of the bags will leak air within a few weeks and start expanding a bit. Still, these are a good value if you're trying to maximize your storage space, especially if you're trying to protect vulnerable fabrics from moths, bugs, dust, etc. Recommended. ... show more

The deal on the bags are fine and it was easy to get the air out to reduce the size. We travel a few times a year so this helps us rebel with just one suitable between 2 of us.

Good selection of bag sizes, and you can use a vacuum cleaner to suck out the air. Good for short-term use, but the bags sometimes don't maintain the compressed status and start to get air in them again. Not as high quality as the more expensive bags.

Nice for traveling not only does it compress your cloths it will protect them for spills/weather. Nice to have a portable vacuum that you can take with you and reseal before coming home.

Great way to travel with just a backpack. I got tired of paying fees for checked baggage and waiting for the bag to pop out of baggage claim. Picked these up and now have enough room to just use a backpack for trips up to 5 or so days. The small electric pump is a great addition and allows you to vacuum seal the bags from anywhere. This product is ideal for the main reason I got it. We wear a lot of wool performance wear for cycling and like to keep them in air tight bags to keep moths out. The small size bags are perfect for 2 or 3 shirt or tops; having the portable pump is great since we want to seal them up and vacuum them to store them away, and now we don't have to drag out the vacuum cleaner every time. With the large bags, I will be able to condense blankets and comforters to a much smaller size for storing in the off-season. I vacuumed the fleece throw in these pictures in less than a minute, but I can see that if you were vacuuming several large bags at once, you might want to get out the vacuum cleaner to make the job go faster. BTW, I waited several days after sealing up this blanket and some wool tops to see if the bags would stay vacuumed and all three are just as tight as when I first vacuumed them. ... show more
