Nice lightweight material. Lightweight but not see through. Warm enough for the office but not too warm. Very comfortable. Runs a little small. I normally wear a large, would size up to an XL.

Nice fabric: soft, stretchy jersey-type of knit that is thin - something to throw on for warmth without bulk. Gave it a 3 for the following caveat, however. It runs very small, and because the shoulders and arms are cut to be form fitting that creates a problem. Every single line and wrinkle of the garment worn under the cardigan shows clearly across the back and shoulders. I normally take a Medium & have a slender build. With a thin knit crew neck garment under this I had to spend some time fiddling to get everything aligned without a mass of wrinkles, lines and bumps. I don't want to do that just to slip something on for warmth at the office. I ordered an XL for that purpose- something easy on and off and a bit loose. This is NOT loose at XL - it fits like a Medium. Even with a tank top, the scoop neckline of the top is clearly outlined and so are any wrinkles across the back. Net net - fabric feels wonderful, but shows every feature of the garment beneath it, so size up 2 or maybe 3 sizes. ... show more

    • Lightweight cardigan sweater is very slimming!

I have several black sweaters, and at least 5 of them are open in the front (cardigans). But I didn't have a drape-front or a light-weight black cardigan. It's an essential for me, as much of my clothing for Winter is black or grey. Since I began to have hot flashes, I cannot tolerate the thick fuzzy sweaters that I used to wear. This drape-front cardigan is perfect for me! It's about the weight/warmth of a long-sleeve blouse, so I'll get a lot of wear out of it. Also, the drape front is so flattering, skimming over the hips and hiding the bum. I haven't tried it with leggings, but I'm sure I will wear it with them quite a bit this Winter. I have it on today at work with black chinos and a black floral silk tank. Such a cute look. As far as quality, the color is a nice, rich black. There are no flaws, missed seams, or loose threads. The fabric is like a thin cotton blouse, but not sheer at all, and feels really good and soft on the skin. It's a decent value for your money, neither cheap nor expensive. ... show more

Lightweight. Good color (I got the dark grey). It fits snug in the arms and is loose on the body. It's warm on chilly nights without being too heavy. It can be dressed up with jewelry or a scarf. It's a nice basic sweater.
