I got this for my 6 year old as we just moved and he is autistic to which because there is no carpet in our new apartment I wanted to provide some soft pieces for him to have to interact with. This does come fully boxed, rolled and air compressed. So in reference to that it will need time out the box to form it's shape plus I sat on it for cusion and I think that helped as well. However it hasn't completely taken shape over the days it been out I would say it's at least 90% there though. The surface itself isn't as smooth as it appears in the picture but I say that more for if that is what your wanting as oppose to for us it's fine. I haven't actually seen him interact with it I in fact have used it more for a cushion then he has played with it but I like that he also has that option. This does go from a couch to a small bed I think for someone who might be younger and smaller my little guy is 6 weighing 52 lbs and is on the football looking build. This chair came squished in a box and a few days to fluff up. Once fluffed up it still seems like there is room between the back and the side of the chair. Also it doesn't fold all the way down back to a chair. So quality is a bit of a concern. I am hoping as it is sat in that this will fix that. This comes vacuumed sealed - and it ruins the shape of the of couch. It's all uneven. I will say it is comfy for the kids, and they don't care about aesthetics. So I guess it's really just a 'me' problem

This came vacuum sealed all rolled up, I have had it out of the wrapper for about 2 weeks and its fully shaped but it needs some tweaking still to look similar to the photos.
