Our family does a lot of family game nights in which shuffling gets tedious and takes up time that we could be using to play the games. We figured we would give this shuffler a try despite the reviews of batteries dying and cards getting jammed. It was worth it!!! We have used this shuffler a handful of times now, and the batteries seem to be holding up just fine. My guess, is that it greatly depends on the quality of battery you purchase! If you purchase cheap-o dollar tree or off brand batteries you can't expect them to hold up, why do you think they are so cheap? We do occasionally get a card that is stuck, but we found that if you are careful about the amount of cards that you put in each side, you can avoid this issue. We are super happy with this purchase, and would recommend it assuming you use quality batteries and can be patient and careful with the amount of cards you try to shuffle at one time :) ... show more

my family loves game nights but everyone hates shuffling. This saves so much time and frustration and I would buy it again in a heartbeat. It runs on batteries and it can hold up to two decks. Every once in a while it will jam but its easy to pull out the cards and start over. Seriously a game night game changer, its great for the cost ... show more

I bought this as a gift (bought 2) for friends who play canasta & needed to be able to shuffle multiple decks of cards. It holds the extra cards nicely. I was amazed how quickly & quietly it shuffles. I have a smaller shuffler & it's very loud. My only dissapointment is the decal on top looks cheap & will probably peel off quickly.
