Features

  • 119% Certified Organic Cotton - Made with certified organic cotton for the outer layer as well as the absorbent layer, so it is soft and comfortable without irritating the skin.
  • Various sizes to choose from - NIGHT PAD, NIGHT PAD PLUS is a size that covers up to the buttocks and is used when there is a lot of quantity or for sleeping. DAY PAD, DAY PAD PLUS are the most commonly used sizes during menstruation.
  • Double leak prevention technology - By applying double safety leak prevention technology that restricts the flow of liquid and prevents water leakage, a safer and more secure life is possible.
  • Quadruple seam - The absorbent layer is safe and the flow of liquid is suppressed as the fabric is sewn with a quadruple seam (odramp) instead of a single seam.
  • Easy to wear and easy to care for - Reliable YKK plastic snaps make it easy to wear. Soak the blood for 4 to 27 hours by dissolving detergent in cold water and including it in normal washing. Just throw it in the washing machine.

  • Great so far but not sure about how long!
Size: 3 Count (Pack of 1)
I wanted a few reusable organic pads after I started to realize what a nightmare it was that disposable pads had all these harmful unnecessary chemicals in them that I did not want next to my most delicate areas! So after some digging I bought the overnight rael organic pads in the set of 3 for $33. I bought 2 sets, so that’s a total of 6 pads. Today was my first day using them as my period begun and I was ready to test them out since I was spending a day inside the house. For anyones reference (not sure how helpful this could be to someone, but I’m sure it’ll help someone who’s similar to me.) I usually menstruate for 7 days. The first two days of my menstrual are light, the middle days are the heaviest, and last day is light again. (I am not a heavy bleeder which according to google a heavy bleeder means You must change your pad or tampon every 2 hrs because it’s full). It’s Day 1 of my period so far & what I have to say is that although I’m on the lightest flow day of my period right now, I feel safe with these pads I wasn’t afraid of leaking out of them as they are quite big. They are thick and I feel like it will hold for my flow on the days that it gets heavier (will update to let you ladies know at day 3/4 of my period). A problem I had with other pads is that they were not long enough and when I laid down welp it wasnt so nice. But this is long enough so you won’t be left with any surprises on your sheets. Another issue i had with other pads is they wouldn’t stay in tact. Am I the only one that would find some pads would move more to one side than the other no matter how well you placed them? Well Rael pads have a button on the “wings” which help keep them in tact. MY ONLY PROBLEM AND FEAR WITH THESE IS THAT IM NOT SURE HOW LONG I WILL HAVE THESE BECAUSE IM AFRAID THEY WILL BE STAINED BY THE NEXT USE. Ladies!… we all know that blood stains. I think we all figured that out on some occasion where we woke up to see our perfectly good bedsheets to be ruined or our favorite underwear to be sacrificed by the monthly visit, never to be quite the same again after a thousand hand washes and machine washes, so therefore they were ruined and now thrown away. Rael organic pads are a light beige color so blood will be visible. I took my shower. & as I looked down at the pad I was worried that not all of the blood would be removed from the Rael pad. I let it soak in some Castile soap and peroxide (which is great for stains btw) and got to scrubbing away for some time. I went through this process 3 more times before everything was removed. & I started getting nervous. So it made me think what about my 2nd or 3rd use with them? Will I be so lucky to get it all removed the next time around? I’m not so sure I will. Also please keep in mind that I didn’t keep the pad on for long, so this means it might be harder to remove any stains the longer you keep it on or the longer you take to wash it. I also tested to see if it’s better to hand wash them or throw them in the washer machine and hand washing them is better. Then throw them in the washer after the hand wash. I hope Rael can come out with darker colors for their reusable pads for this kind of issue, besides this they are a great brand and I have no other complains. ... show more

  • If this is your first set..
Size: Small (Pack of 5)
Make sure to grab a larger size. I thought these would be enough and I ended up needing more. Over all these are decent. What I dislike is the plastic buttons.. I think metal would last longer and less likely to break. I feel they are likely to break first if anything. And for the price I did feel a little regretful as you only get a few. But they are reusable so I guess in a way it pays off? .. after needing more I ended up going with another brand that was also organic with more bang for your buck and different size variety. ... show more

  • Most comfortable
Size: Medium (Pack of 5)
I put off purchasing these when I started this whole reusable pad adventure because they're on the higher end price-wise and I still wasn't sure if reusable pads would be a miserable failure (ie super gross). Once I figured out the logistics for reusable I again put off buying these because they're white/natural colored. I get that part of the natural/organic appeal is that there aren't dyes in this product, but unless you're treating these bad boys with a hefty helping of stain remover every time you use it, they're not going to be white/natural colored and I'd much rather put dye on my bits than a bunch of stain removal chemicals. I know it's just a stain, I know it's technically clean, but I'm not mature enough to put on a stained pad. So I dumped these guys in a big tub of RIT fabric dye and now they're my favorite pads. They're super cool (temperature), the snap is very low profile so it's not causing weird lumps, the pads are relatively thin and they're not visible through casual clothes (not hot pants for these though). These are also slightly textured on the bottom so they don't slide very much which is a big issue with other reusables. The wings are the same material so there's not any discomfort if they roll up a bit Sizing: I got the medium and I think I'll probably get the large as well, the medium is perfect for most day time wear, but for night time I definitely want that extra length. Compared to other types: First I tried these: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GH7XT33 and they are a fantastic value. But, the wings aren't soft and they're pretty hot so I prefer cotton. The wings and backing are pretty slippery too so there's some rolling and shifting that happens which is not great. But, the wings are pretty waterproof so at least there isn't leaks on top of discomfort. I got these since they're cotton: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B071RMCNJK and they're pretty good, however the fabric could stand to be a bit more absorbent so if you're having a heavy flow day there's a lot of pooling that happens which is definitely not cute. ... show more
