I have been using many types of pre-shave oils and gels and by far this product is great. The scent and ease of going on is also fine. One item I noticed and is no reflection on the product is that the opening in the glass jar is way too large allowing more than enough oil to pass through. I wish it had a small pinhole size opening as this is an expensive product. I plan on transferring this oil to smaller 10ml and 15ml plastic bottles for travel use. Great product. ... show more

This pre-shave oil is admittedly pretty phenomenal. While I do like using Art of Shaving's shaving cream and after shave balm THIS is the only thing I really couldn't do without. It makes such a huge difference in my shaving experience. I no longer get razor burn and my razor glides across my face like a figure skater on ice. It also lasts quite a long time. A little will take you a long way with this stuff! Granted my facial hair grows slow so i shave about once a week, but I'm just now (12/04/17) starting to run low and the last time I bought a bottle was July 26, 2016! This oil does a great job of acting as a razor lubricant, but I really like the way it softens my whiskers very quickly before I put on shaving cream. In a pinch, I could use just the oil to shave without issue, but it's definitely better when layered with a good cream.
