  • 24 L Large enough for Full System
Size: 24L
The 24 L easily holds my full compliment of lenses for any job. I am able to load in 2 Full Frame camera bodies with lenses attached along with 4 other lenses, a flash, wireless flash controllers. Lens cleaning kit, filters. Be careful not to overload, it sure can fit everything, but can get pretty heavy. It also does lack an inside pocket along the length. However, I used the Laptop enclosure for filters and lens cleaning kit. Only truly water resistant with included rain cover. However many bags use this method. ... show more

  • great build quality, needs a few more pockets
Size: 24L
I replaced my Cinebags evolution backpack with the Tenba Axis 24L. The Cinebags backpack is well made, but the bulky design and overly thick padding actually limit the available storage and access. Some of the Cinebag pockets just didn't work well for accessories so they didn't get used. Your experience may vary, or course. The Tenba Axis 24L is a better fit for my gear, although I do wish it had more pockets. Kind of ironic, but so it goes. One feature that I bought the bag for is the side access for my Panasonic S1H camera. It is a bit awkward to use, but I don't have to completely remove the bag to do so. I don't believe the S1H would fit through the side compartment in the 20L version of this bag. The interior dividers are easily adjustable, and there is also a large compartment available at the top of the bag. The harness straps could use a bit more padding, and the height adjustment really helps for getting the right fit. The waist belt is removable, which is very nice. Overall build quality is typical Tenba stuff; very good. I have two Tenba "doctor style" bags for my cinema cameras and they are holding up very well. As most people know, finding the "perfect" bag is difficult at best. Reviews can't really tell you, so I advise buying a bag and seeing how it fits your gear and workflow. That said, I do recommend this bag highly. There are 3 sizes, so one may be a good fit for you. ... show more

  • Good, but...
Size: 20L
The bag is very adjustable for wearing and sorting a mix of gear inside the main compartment. It falls short in the front pouch. Which is basically worthless. There are two extremely tight pockets, where there could be at least 6 on the backpack and 4 on the flap. This would give you a place to stash cables, chargers, loose batteries for flashes, gels, filters, memory cards, business cards, etc. It’s a missed opportunity. The top handle is also flimsy as heck. If you’ve ever been standing in a place where you can’t wear your pack and need to hold it by the top handle, this bag is going to be a problem for you, it’s like holding 30 pounds by a string. The biggest problem, by far, is how much space you lose inside of the bag when you have a laptop in the laptop pouch. The laptop pouch should force the front of the bag out, instead of reducing the interior storage space. With a 13” MacBook Pro, the bag is almost impossible to close. ... show more

  • Works Good as a Photography Backpack
Size: 20L
Tight fit but got 2 Fuji Mirrorless cameras with lenses attached (100-400 & wide angle lens) and 1 separate intermediate lens into the bag. No good place to stash cards and batteries so you have to have zippered bags or little boxes for these and put them down into the deep pocket. Battery chargers go in checked or under the seat bag so no issue there. A bit long for me (5'2") but the waist strap certainly helps. The shoulder straps dig in a bit (front of the shoulders) but hopefully a jacket or sweater will help that. One of the zipper pulls fell off while we first opened it but luckily we had spares. But they should be made with sturdier zippers and pulls! ... show more

  • Great size, design sucks.
Size: 24L
I really wanted to like this bag as I love the brand and they discontinued their other bag of similar size. But I hate that I have close the bag in order to get something out of the front pocket. you can't get things out of the main compartment and the front pouch at the same time. This also leads me into my next complaint which is there is very little storage space for smaller accessories. The bag holds a lot which is great but the design is pretty bad in my opinion. Just made me more bummed they discontinued their other bag. As far as pros go the material is very water tight which is nice. ... show more

  • SOLID camera backpack
Size: 20L
Can fit Nikon D750 + 1.7x Nikon Lens Extender + 70-200 VR Lens (just barely, but works!!) in side access pocket. Divider system is well padded and/with solid velcro adhesion. Vented straps (all of them) are excellent. Back padding is equally well ventilated. Waist straps relieve shoulders of most weight - works VERY well. Adjustability of shoulder straps is excellent. Easily carries aforementioned camera (above) with 2 other lenses & a Canon 6D w/ 70-300 attached. Outer pocket can be used with a small Osprey 1.5L Hydraulics Reservoir... but bag overall will be heavy with that. Haven't tested water resistance yet but I imagine it's fine & this bag includes a rain cover. For reference, I'm ~ 6' @ 150lbs, 32 waist. ... show more
