  • Assembly is a bit rough but it is worth it for a good sights
The media could not be loaded. The first thing I will say is that this is a bit more of a complex telescope to put together. It is pretty well built and well organized so you are able to easily know which parts you need when assembling. The instructions are pretty straight forward. The device does take some time to learn to use it. The telescope is pretty heavy so it is not something you can move too easily. You have to really be careful when moving it to avoid the telescope falling over and breaking ta lens. I would say if you are not tech savy this may be harder for your to assemble. It just has a lot of pieces. I had a fun time assembling this for my nephew and he really loves using this for looking into the stars. It gives you a good image but again it takes time to locate what you want to look at. It gives a decent view of the planet but it is not perfect. It takes time to really clear up the image. There are several different focus lens inside but I wish those were better packaged. You are able to get a close or far shot as needed and you can use your phone to take images if needed which is great. The eye view is nice and comfortable on the eyes. The focus is not too sensitive but again it takes time time to learn all the functions and it is not as intuitive as say a binocular. The focus is very strong and gave me a very good view for birds if I have it setup and focused in time. It is pretty easy to move around on the stand. Overall this is a very good device to have if you are a person who is good with assembly so you can get this up and running quickly. It is not exactly something I would give to someone who has a hard time assembly. The telescope is heavy so may take two people to assemble. It is not the easiest thing to setup for anyone but definitely worth it for star gazing. ... show more

  • Great customer service!
When opening the boxes I noticed that no instructions were included on how to build the telescope. I reached out to the company and they were quick to respond and get me what I needed. The packaging of the telescope was great! Nothing dented or broken. Also arrived ahead of schedule. Instructions were easy to follow as well! Love it. ... show more

  • Quality build but a few things would make it perfect for the price.
This Telescope is an all metal build except for the focuser. I wish it was metal but I'm happy with its performance, just wish it was a little higher quality. The other issue I have is the primary mirror is not marked for collimation purposes. This would be so easy for them to do at the factory. The mount works great and is quite sturdy. Although I wish the tray was metal and not plastic. There is some movement when the mount is locked but it's not a deal breaker for me. All and all for the price I would recommend this Telescope but some small improvements would've made it a 5 star review. ... show more

  • Very nice
Just got this and put together in about 20 minutes. Instructions were simple to follow and the packaging was awesome! Extremely fast shipping. The only problem was the battery came dead and we had to drive to town to get another (25 miles one way). Planned to practice tonight but forecast is -2F so I will wait. Really looking forward to using this. ... show more

  • Fantastic Telescope
The set up was easy. Instructions are clear and easy to understand. It took me about 20 min to assemble but take your time because there are a lot of pieces. It's well made and professional looking. The accessory tray is very helpful and the tripod is very sturdy. The 150MM bigger Aperture makes for better images. It’s amazing to see Saturn with its rings with your own eyes. I did not expect that from such an affordable scope. It’s worth it for sure. It's great for viewing night skies. I absolutely love this telescope. ... show more

  • Great for beginners
This is my first telescope after a good research. I am so happy to own my own telescope now and had not expected to learn so much closely about the universe. First few days were frustrating, now I can say learned the basics. If anyone is looking for a great beginners telescope the mezaa is a go go. I highly recommend the telescope without a doubt. ... show more

  • Very Good, quality of screw is slightly subpar. Overall I'm happy with my purchase
I really like the telescope especially as it was the first one I've had, I had been able to see Jupiter with its 4 Galilean moons, the only negative points I have of the telescope is that the screw-adjuster for the altitude was not threaded fully and had a portion of the metal left, which had gotten stuck at the 50 degree point and I had to take the actual telescope off and use a lot of WD-40 and a mallet on the adjuster-bar until it would release the screw as it had gotten stuck in the stand, I had to re-thread the adjuster-screw to remove the extra metal that was left behind, but it works well now. It doesn't have a focal point indicator on the mirror so if you did have to collimate the telescope it would be pure guesswork which is not desirable. Luckily mine was perfectly collimated so I didn't have to worry about it. Also, the instructions weren't very detailed as to which knobs to put where, it just showed pictures but wasn't very descriptive. The lenses it came with are ok as you can see objects like Jupiter, just not detailed, so I had ordered more separately, and they work well. But all that being said, it was a great deal, and I'm very impressed. Other than the altitude screw, it's all decent quality and I'm happy with my purchase. Perfect for first time purchases ... show more

  • Great upgrade! 🌝
The media could not be loaded. Perfect a parade we bought our son how much less expensive than smaller and less capable telescope last year, and he really seems to like it. So he decided for this Christmas to upgrade this phone have everything you need I was very impressed with the quality of the tripod all the ones that come with it, as well as the ability to take photos with her iPhone easily. Can’t wait for him to see this one sitting by the tree 🌲 in December!!! I hope this review and photos are helpful. ... show more
