This was a Christmas gift so I was a little disappointed that the box was damaged. The products were in perfect condition though, and this is a great product for a plethora of skin types. A good purchase of you want to test the brand as well.

    • This set of products has changed my am and pm routine.
I have really enjoyed this brand of cosmetics. My skin seems smoother and not as many dry areas. I have since switched entirely to this brand of cosmetics. This brand is however quite expensive and not that easy to find.

I like the creamy cleanser and moisturizer, the exfoliation powder stuff you have to mix up is very weak IMO for exfoliating. I think this brand is good for younger skin, but for mature skin, (which this kit was supposed to be for, fell short IMO) the best I’ve seen so far in appearance is Kate Somerville products. Literally the retinol night and wrinkle arrest. I also recommend Geek and Gorgeous Vit C and I use additional hyaluronic acid on top of Kate’s stuff. ... show more

These products are very gentle, even the scrub cleanser. That’s my favorite item! I love how the gritty powder turns into this creamy face wash! It’s very gentle , snd despite my skin being oily, it’s very sensitive and breaks out easily. I was nervous about the scrub snd wasn’t going to use it, but I thought I’d give it a try. I’m so glad I did! My skin looks great. It feels great! However, don’t pay attention to how much the directions say to use; you only need a tiny bit and can make the powder last longer than 2 weeks! I love the peony eye cream. It is soft and non-irritating, but I feel like it’s plumping my skin and making a difference. A case of Covid and some family losses have really aged my appearance in the past few months, giving me deep lines and bags and dark circles. I tried several other eye creams with no change. The peony cream has made an improvement and I’m very impressed at the big magic in that little tiny jar! My only real criticism is the packaging. The oil and the essence can be hard to dispense. I know these are trial/travel sized, but a pump top or a flip cap would be way better than the awkward screw-on lids and hard to squeeze plastic bottles. However, I do find the dispenser for the scrub pretty easy to use. If you use these conservatively, you can make them last longer than 2 weeks. I alternate the scrub cleanser with the gel cleanser (which I purchased separately), and I don’t always use the water gel moisturizer during the day. I use an oil-control lotion during the day and tatcha at night. Up until recently I was able to use the Tatcha during the day and felt pretty confident in how non-oily my skin seemed to be, but it’s Texas in summer and it’s hot and humid! My oil-control lotion can barely keep up-the water gel doesn’t have a prayer of keeping the oil slicks at bay right now! This stuff is pricey, but I love it. I just absolutely love it. Breakouts are under control; irritation is at a minimum; eyes are looking brighter/softer/younger. It’s a win. ... show more

I would consider myself to be a product junkie (my husband would agree, lol!) but this was my first introduction to Tatcha. I spent a lot of time reviewing their products before deciding to purchase this set. I love sets like this because it gives you a range of products to try within a brand because sometimes you may like a brand's face wash but not their toner or you love their night cream but not their day cream, etc. Not only did I love all of the products within this set, but it lasted me several weeks and I didn't feel like I had to break the bank to enjoy some luxurious skin care.
