This was a big hit for my daughter. She LOVES making necklaces and designing her own creations with this pack! The set is well worth the money as multiple necklaces can be made. You can undo them and remake them as well, the possibilities truly are endless. The ends of the necklaces, where they connect are easy for kids to use as well, and the separate easily too, so you don't have to worry about it becoming a choking hazard, or getting stuck on their neck. The necklace itself is a stretchy rubber, good quality, and the beads are typical plastic with the charms being a softer rubber but also good quality. The images are excellent in design and seem very durable. Overall, I highly recommend these packs, they are several options, you can do them together, they provide an outlet for creativity, you can mix and match and be unique. I got this set for my 3 year old niece and 4 and 6 year old daughters. They all enjoyed it very much. Easy craft for kids to do. Better when supervised initially. I taught them about patterns, and how to string the beads to make patterns, and when to string on the pendants so that it will be centered. After that, just leave them to let their creative juices flowing. Each kid wore her creation proudly. And they could easily take a part and make new designs. They made necklaces for grandma. It was great. I had to get a second set so that there was enough pieces to go around and reduce the squabbling. It comes in adorable case too and is perfect for gifting.     • Hours of fun but one necklace broken
The necklaces are hard to separate the first time you use them and we had to pull so hard on one it broke which makes the beads fly everywhere. The one end that is supposed to hold the beads is also not wide enough so if you stack enough beads on it they fall off and fly everywhere. Long story short my daughter loves this thing but I am constantly picking up and stepping on beads. These are easy design flaw fixes. ... show more

You can remake the necklaces as many times as you please , I think that's perfect for a 4 year old as they change their minds so often . Was an amazing gift . I gave a 2 star for durability , my daughter pulled on the stretchy string and it snapped because she wasn't pulling in the right spot to " unhook " it didn't pull too hard but it did snap . Overall even with that it's a great toy/gift for little ones for sure ... show more

So my daughter is four and still learning her fine motor skills. This necklace kit is perfect because you can make all the necklaces possible and then just as easily take the beads off and do even more. Also because this set uses basic pony beads, I can buy extra for her to add to the ones already in the kit or replace them in case they get lost. The stretchy necklace part itself is strong enough that she can play with it on, and easy enough she can remove it herself. Cannot say enough good things about this kit. Would definitely recommend (With adult supervision of course, the beads are small). ... show more
