  • Devastating Failure!
This Tie Rod was professionally installed by an ASE certified mechanic. Let it be known I live in the burbs so my '15 Rubicon hasn't done any rock crawling and barely even been off road period - I wish. None the less; within 7 months the driver side bushing was leaking grease, seems the rubber wasn't elastic enough for the cold wintry months. After inspection I discovered the boot had a hairline crack in it, just large enough to squirt grease out - minor but wth. Be advised; about 5 months later my steering wheel was best I can describe it.. non responsive. So I took it in to the mechanic who installed it. OMG! I'm blessed to still be amongt's the living! Turns out the threads in the passenger side tie rod was stripping out (and came apart thankfully in the reapair shop parking lot and not on the road at speed) to the extent that passenger wheel literally went into a hard right turn while the driver side wheel remained parallel to the Jeep's fender. Wth! The passenger tie rod end stripped in the receiver! I chose this brand because of the overwhelmingly good reviews. I have 32" MT tires with a 1" lift, the Rubicon BFG's are 32" OEM issue. No one in their right mind should use this dangerous tie rod. I'm not really writing this review to complain as much as to warn others. Be safe. ... show more

  • Perfect fitment, must do upgrade
Perfect fitment for my 2012 JK. As soon as I unboxed the part I knew it was going to be much stronger than the stock tie rod. Much thicker solid steel. Easy install if your are remotely familiar with ball joints. Measured old tie rod and matched new one and have had no issues with pulling to one side or the other and haven’t had an alignment yet. Have much more confidence in this part than stock. Steering is a first priority on upgrades on a Jeep ... show more

  • The best thing about it is how tough it feels and looks.
I have to say I love this product. I bought it a few weeks ago and I have to say feel, looks, and is pretty amazing. It literally took me 20 minutes to install. I took my 2013 jeep wrangler JKU to Jeep dealer to get it aligned even though it really did not need it I wanted to be sure. They thought it was a synergy tie rod. They were talking great about it till I said it was made by Superior suspension. They did not know anything about the company or looked disgusted on my purchase. I really like this product and am recommending this product to all my friends. I've done a lot of mudding and rock climbing. I have not found a bracket for the steering stabilizer so I am driving without one on 37s"tire". The drive is very smooth you can definitely feel the difference on the road. The only issue I have right now is that I want to get my drag link from Supreme but they do not make one yet. I've included pics of my Jeep so you can see how good it looks. If you ever have product to check out I am more than willing to check them out and brag about them. I wish they had the drag link I would really like to check it out. I would like to maybe start using this company for off road parts. ... show more

  • Great Upgrade
I have been running my stock tie rod on my 2012 JK and finally decided to replace it at 90k miles. This is definitely a solid upgrade over the stock tie rod. I am running 3.5" lift, 17" rims with 4.5 back-spacing and 35" tires and have zero rubbing. Installation was a breeze and the hardest part was opening and closing the factory stabilizer bracket so it could be reused on the new tie rod. I highly recommend this product, especially at half the cost of comparable name brand tie rods. Not sure why people are having issues but my guess is probably user error during installation. If you look at most of the picture people have posted you can clearly see that the boots have little to no grease in them. This doesn't necessarily explain the issues they are having but it is a good indicator that they should probably leave the wrenching to someone else. ... show more

  • A must buy!
I’ve had the stock tie rod for a few years now and noticed my rig drove horrible. Gradual wear and tear (along with a lot of off-roading) makes it hard to notice especially if your vehicle is part of your daily driving. Once I installed this beast! I could tell in the first 1/4 mile it is WELL WORTH every cent spent on the front end. My rig drives just like when I bought it. (Steering wise) The thickness of the tie rod eliminated the steering wheel fight on the inside of the cab. What a value for the money. I highly recommend this product. It’s made my 2013 Sahara Wrangler dive like a “caddy” again. I ALMOST forgot very easy installation just follow the directions, if I could do it in my garage you can too. ... show more

  • Sturdy but rubs
I have an 07 JK 4dr, 3.5" lift with 32's. Replaced stock tie rod with this. It is much beefy and heavier than stock. Installation was easy no issues. However, when I turn my wheels all the way to the right, it rubs on what looks like the nut on the passenger side. Not sure why. Took it to the shop to have them align it, and it still rubs if I turn too sharply. Other than that, it seems good. I believe wheel spacers will fix this issue which I plan on getting with larger tires. ... show more

  • Poor quality, Bad customer service,
Put your money somewhere else, this is cheaper than other brands out there for a reason!!! Very bad customer service. If fitment is wrong it will damage rims!!! Other great products out there like , Steer smart, Synergy, Teraflex, they might be more money but totally worth it!!!
