Description

The C-130, Sun Mountain’s best-selling cart bag, was created to work optimally on a cart. All features are designed with cart use in mind, starting with the reverse orientation top with three utility handles, cart bumpers, the Smart Strap System and a convenient, roomy, velour-lined rangefinder pocket with a magnetic-closure. In addition, all pockets are forward-facing and accessible when the bag is on a cart. FEATURES & BENEFITS Fourteen individual club dividers, including a dedicated putter compartment, run the full-length of the bag to protect clubs and prevent the migration of club shafts. Among the thirteen pockets are two full-length apparel pockets; a ventilated, cooler pocket; rangefinder pocket with magnetic closure; and two velour-lined pockets, one of which is water-resistant. The Smart Strap System attaches the bag to a riding cart with two Velcro straps which stop the bag from twisting on the cart and prevent the riding cart’s straps from interfering with pocket usage. High quality bag with multiple pockets for just about anything and everything you want to bring along. The only thing I would change is placing the cooler pocket on the front rather than the side. Definitely recommend this bag.

I've purchased Sun Mountain bags for years. Very disappointed with this version of the bag. This version doesn't allow for threading of the straps like previous versions. Bag strap blocks towel / glove holders on each side of the bag. The riding cart straps in the back aren't functional with EVERY cart used at our club, as well as other courses. The straps simply don't align with the back of the cart. What on Earth was Sun Mountain thinking? ... show more

This bag is even better then expected. I love all the pockets and also the velcro straps on the back to help keep the nab on straight. Highly recommend it. My previous Sun Mountain bag lasted for years and I expect this will be the same.

    • What an unpleasant surprise!
I just uncartoned my new Sun Mountain 14-Way Divided Golf Cart Bag. It was shipped in a light weight carboard box with a thin plastic sleeve over the bag. Perhaps this is what partially contributes to the problem. The bag was almost $300.00 with tax; a decent sum to pay for a golf bag. So expectations were consistent with paying that much money. However the bag, whose stiff surface material is extremely creased and wrinkled, has been assembled (sewn) in a less than acceptable way. These factors result in the bag looking very asymmetrical and off kilter. The end result is the bag, without its storage compartments stuffed to give them shape, looking like a much cheaper bag off. Upon receiving the golf bag the packaging was busted open and then after looking over what was supposed to be a new bag I noticed the top portion of the bag was melted and overall condition of a 270 dollar bag was horrible!

    • Initially I hesitated. I'm glad I pulled the trigger on this one
I have had a nice cart bag for years but it was starting to show some wear and tear. It had a mesh bag on the side that had developed a tear. After searching on Amazon for a new bag I came across Sun Mountain and saw the great reviews so I debated getting this bag. I pulled the trigger and I am really happy that I did. It has pockets galore. It features full-length sleeves for the clubs - something that my previous bag did not feature. There were countless times where I would insert a club into my old bag only to have the grip bind on another club's grip, necessitating moving clubs around. No issues with that now. Each club slides right in with no worries. This bag's top-most pocket has a magnetic enclosure making accessing anything in the pocket a breeze. Some of the pockets are lined with a soft felt-like material that offers superb protection. There is a slot for a putter with an oversized putting handle. It is lighter than my old bag but it has great handles on it for moving it in and out of my car. It even has separate velcro straps offering a different way of securing the bad to the back of a golf cart. There are no worries about it falling off the golf cart by accident. But, one of the more amazing features to me are the zippers. You never realize how important a zipper is until it doesn't work or it starts binding. These are simply the best zippers I have ever used and they make getting in and out of pockets a breeze. These guys make great bags (and right here in the USA).
