I chose the "green" option and once I received this artificial snake plant, I wished I had chosen the yellow option because in my opinion it looks more interesting and realistic, at least based on the seller's photos. When I recevied the the green one I thought it looked kind of plain, but once I fluffed out the leaves a little and "planted" it in a white ceramic pot (actually a kitchen utensil crock I hadn't used in years), I think it turned out pretty cute. The leaves are plastic and nice and thick, which gives them a realistic look. The shape of the leaves and the satin sheen are also realistic. The green is all the same color, as are the black zig-zags; I think this is where improvemet could come in, a little variety might add to the realism, and that's also why I think I would have preferred the yellow one instead. But overall I am pleased with how this plant looks, especially once I dressed it up in a pot. I found an empty supplement bottle that I filled with sand for weight, then I planted the base of the snake plant in the bottle's opening; it fit snugly enough that the plant is in there nice and secure, and I was able to push it in far enough (just about a helf inch or maybe a little more) to hide the staples that hold the leaves together at the base of the plant. Then I put the whole thing inside the crock. The extra height of the crock (and the supplement bottle) gave the finished plant a larger presence and the height of the crock balances out the height of the snake plant. Overall there is a little room for improvement with the green option I chose, but in the end I am pleased with how my project turned out and the way the plant looks once arranged and potted. ... show more

For the very affordable price of this Faux Snake Plant, I wasn't expecting much. Boy, was I surprised when I saw how good it looks! I was pleased and impressed. My place only gets a little natural light. So growing an actual plant is out of the question. This little beauty fills the void and gives the feeling of something growing inside. I may be buying a bunch more to use as a repetitive design element throughout my place. Yes, if you look close enough, you can tell it is not real. This Sukh Faux Snake Plant looks very real. It looks a little smaller than I expected perhaps because it doesn't open up very much, but it works. I put this in a planter with potting soil and everyone who has seen it has made a positive comment. It looks permanently green and freshly watered and I was worried about getting it to stay upright, but it stands perfectly fine on its own in the soil. Arrives boxed, all you need is to extend the plant out and find a suitable pot to place in. I placed mine inside a ceramic pot and added plant soil for a natural look and it looks like a live plant minus the watering. Beautiful accent piece just keep in mind pot is not included.

It's just okay... not quite as big and full as I was expecting it to be. Might be okay in a setting where there are other items or plants around it so it doesn't look so lonely and artificial. It's not overly pricey, so if you just need a fill in plant, it's a decent option.
