I got this for when my take-off area is less than perfect. It sets the drone slightly higher off the ground to reduce the amount of small debris that could hit the props. It is simple to put on and take off. It is also very lightweight. My mini-2 weighed in 239 grams and these only put it up to 249 grams, keeping it under the faa weight limit. ... show more

    • Serves its purpose and is reasonably priced
I purchased this item for my Mini 2 SE. As advertised, the gear keeps the aircraft elevated above the ground, providing you more options for take-off and landing. The gear assembly is relatively easy to attach and remove but less easy to fold and unfold. You need to be very careful when pushing the skids past the plastic detent tabs. It’s best to grasp the skids as close to the tab as possible when pushing them out to the extended position, or pulling them into the retracted position. The plastic is flimsy and I think it’s only a matter of time before it breaks. However, the cost is actually less then a set of propellers so I’m not too concerned about that. A couple additional things to be aware of: 1) The DJI propeller holder won’t fit with the landing gear attached; 2) The drone will not fit most cases with cut-out interiors when the gear is attached; 3) YES, flying with the landing gear attached will push the drone over the 250g registration threshold. (While I am not surprised about that, I’m a little ticked that the seller dances around the question. C’mon guys. It’s an easy answer.) ... show more

Very light and strong, well worth the money!

    • Lots of light for landing.
This sled has enough lights so that you can fly it at night and also find your landing pad easily. It has perfect fit, is easy to put on, and easy to takeoff. Because there are so many LEDs on it, I recommend making sure it’s charged up before you use it every time.

    • Work great and look nice
These little accessory is great for the Mini 2, helps stop it from hitting the ground and folds up nice and compact. Doesn't affect flight length and speed to much either. Highly recommend.
