I have extenuating circumstances here. I have to wear ankle braces that slide into my shoes, so I needed a wide shoe. I've needed new shoes for years and finally took a chance on these. They were a good choice. At first, they were tight in the toe box. That's to be expected for me when I get new shoes. But after wearing them for a while, they loosened up and I'm able to get the braces in and out without a whole lot of struggle. They give me stability that I desperately need and they're as comfortable as they can be, considering I had to tear the inner soles out of them--another thing I have to do to accommodate these ankle braces. I wish the shoe strings were a little longer, but that is not affecting this review. My circumstances are different than most, as I mentioned. I'm tempted to buy another pair. ... show more

    • The best fit I've had in a long time

I needed new shoes for work and I have a hard time getting something I like and something comfortable. I wear a women 10 wide which is really hard for me to find in stores. To the point I have to just settle for whatever rather I like them or not. Well I thought this time Maybe I should try a men shoe and these caught my attention. The price wasn't bad and they came in wides so I was like ok let's give these a try. They came and I tried them on and was like OMG yes a shoe I like and that fits the way I want I was glad I ordered 2 pair . These are a good investment, and they held up for a long time for somebody (like the present reviewer) that is very hard on shoes and an overpronator. I strongly recommend them.

    • This modeld does not ahve cushioned padding inside

Size & fit are OK. But very hard inside. No padded cushions like other models. Arch support lil to none. Walking a mile or standing for hours at work foot starts to cramp when new. Once broken better . Not really a walking shoe. More for me a good office shoe that isnt as if going to church

I ordered a man's 11W because I have a hard time finding women's shoes in my size but they slide on my heels and have taken off my skin. I love the style but I cannot wear them much. Sad..I really like the look And I cannot get a refund or exchange now
