I work in a greasy fast food franchise and went from regular sneakers to this; Huge improvement. If it's just water on the floor, they don't slip or they barely slip. If it's a little grease (the normal sheen), they don't slip. If it's a deep puddle of grease or grease + water, they slip a little, you have to be careful. For some reason, our location has the slipperiest, slickest tiles in the dining room and I have to walk carefully in the when that's wet, as well. Like all anti-slip shoes, the sole is stiffer than normal sneakers and that makes them a little uncomfortable for regular wear. I think it's worth not breaking my ankle at work, though. These are good quality work shoes that are truly non slip. My only issue with these shoes is that they are a little bit heavy which causes me some pain when I am on my feet all day. Still I would rather have shoes that do what they say, than be falling down. I dont see these tearing apart any time soon and the stitching is fine. Another question I have, is why they have a rubber thing along the shoelace, I just cut that off. Anyway, I will repurchase. ... show more

Great sneaker type non slip work shoes I’m an automotive technician I’m on my feet all day I go through work shoes every 3-4 months These lasted at least that long . And comfortable . Usually $35 shoes are junk but these sketchers are great. I will repurchase these again if there available for this price or a little more even I would do 5 stars but then again there just cheap work shoes ... show more

I have been wearing these shoes for a few weeks at work: pouring concrete curbing, in crawl-spaces under houses, framing a porch, etc. Relatively hard use- and they are holding up pretty well (so far) and they offer pretty good support for being a light shoe. I was hesitant on purchasing these shoes because I don’t care for this brand of shoes and they are quite ugly. However, I needed a good pair of water resistant shoes that were also comfortable. These shoes have both. The memory foam is very comfortable. I recommend you buying them.
