I am a large man and there are a lot of jeans that don't fit me well, but these are straight legged and have ample room without looking baggy. Without that sloppy baggy look. The material is of a good weight without being overly thick. They are carpenter jeans and I believe they are designed to be functional and will last for a long time. As long as these jeans are available, I don't think I will buy anything else, but I will get some in other colors. I am over 6 feet tall and have a 30" inseam, which is what I ordered. To me, I feel they are a bit longer than some other brands, although I like a little more length than I expected. Amazon is great for returns, so I say try them if interested. I've been wearing these more than some fancy brand 50 dollar jeans I got. I don't know which will last longer, but I wear these more, so it has to count for something. The fit is nice, I can probably fit into a 36 waist still, but I got 40. They're bigger than I need, but I was tired of my old jeans ripping. I'll see ho it goes.
