I love the black and gold colors in this map. Makes the map look rich. Bought it for my husband’s birthday since he wants to start traveling around the US more and seeing national parks. Also love when you scratch off the state, the colors are nice and bright.

Received it on time, bo parts were missing. Maps were in a nice cardboard tube (also very nice looking, cute texts on it) so nothing was squished or damaged. The quality is good, especially for the price and the amount of things that come with it. Already scratched off first states, the material comes of easy and colors underneath are vibrant. The only confusing thing is the star on each state - the white line doesn't scratch off as easily, so it was unclear whether it should/shouldn't be scratched off with the brown color. Other than that, would recomend to buy this! Also might be a nice gift to a friend who loves nature or hiking, as the smaller map is specifically for national parks. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. My husband's excitement receiving this gift was amazing and it is probably one of the best gifts yet at this very low price. He is an avid traveler and he’s always on some mountain peak or country road, so this map and poster are a great fit for him. He simply loved everything about this product. The tube package is quite sturdy and pretty useful to store something else after you frame the posters. Inside the tube, the posters are covered by a protective paper and the tools are in a soft material sack. We left the map and poster with heavy books on each corner for a couple of days because they come rolled in the tube, but that did not stop my husband from scratching off every place he had visited. The posters are very simple to use and easy to scratch off. He likes especially the national parks poster checklist because of his love for nature. I love this map! I wanted to get something that would help my five-year-old daughter learn the geography of the U.S. while simultaneously being interactive and personal, and this most definitely fit the bill. I was a little worried that the unscratched areas would be too vague or unclear for her to recognize as states, but she doesn’t have any trouble. The scratch-off material is easy to remove with the provided tool and doesn’t make a big mess. We haven’t used any of the provided activity stickers yet, but I know that my daughter will enjoy them once she is a little bit older. This map has also had the added benefit of making her want to travel more. Being 5 she isn't too keen on really long road trips, but now that she has seen that she hasn't been to a lot of places that aren't too far away she can't wait to travel to new places so she can scratch and completely reveal the state. ... show more

It is easily scratched even with a fingernail. I would have only given it 3 stars but the company sent out a new one because the first one received had a few marks so they earned a star back from good customer service. I wish it was 18x24 instead of a weird size of 17x24 because its harder to find a frame (needs to be framed because of how easily scratched it is). Also because its shipped in a tub it needs to be stretched out as it wants to fold back up. The accessories are helpful and nice. The tool works great. I wish I wouldve paid attention and only ordered the map as i didnt want and have no use for the national parks scratch off. The colors are nice and my kids love it. ... show more
