Although it doesn't quite look like the advertised pictures, I was satisfied with this dress's overall quality. I felt the cut was flattering, but you would think it would stay in place better for such a clingy dress. I was adjusting it all night long. The material is OK, not great, but it feels good to wear. It has a lot of versatility, depending on how you accessorize. This will not be a dress that will stand the test of time, so make sure it's in your budget to buy a dress that you will only get 3-5 good wears in before it gets donated to the local thrift shop. ... show more

This dress is sized correctly and fits as expected. I like that the off the shoulder elastic stays put and does not sneak off the upper arm and go to the shoulder. The style is classic and attractive and WITH THE RIGHT ACCESSORIES this is a cute party dress. It is a classic black and a classic style that can be dressed up or down. It would also work as a pool or beach cover up. However, the fabric feels really cheap and is VERY clingy. There are no secrets or covering up of figure flaws with this dress. Even though there is lots of fabric, it is all full of very strong static cling. Nothing I did to try to get rid of the static and make it unclingy would work. I wonder what will happen when this dress is washed. Directions say that you cannot put it in the dryer and suggests a cold water wash, then low/cool iron if needed. Having experience with this type of fabric, I believe that it will come out of the washer full of wrinkles and need to be ironed. Since the directions say to keep it away from fire, (not something you see on adult clothing) the fabric must be easily flammable and I worry that it will melt if the iron is too hot. But often to get results you need a warm (not cool) iron. Just knowing that the fabric is easily flammable makes me nervous to wear it. ... show more
