The second I put them on, my feet were in love!! I think I may need a half size bigger, as they feel a little tight, but maybe they stretch and that is the way they are supposed to be. The media could not be loaded. Breaking in the Saucony Women's Axon 2 Running Shoe was a good experience. After my first mile jogging, my feet started to mold into the insole. There was plenty of arch support and room inside the shoe. During my jog, my feet felt supported and experienced good shock absorption from insole to outsole. At the end of my jog, I was still enjoying the bold and lively look, along with the exceptional comfort. Needed a new pair after wearing out my ASICS of 10 years. These are super high quality for the price. I run/walk on side walks and they have great shock. Thick bottoms with the front slightly thinner causes you to teeter forward which was new for me. I can say it made running easier. Very pleased with these sneakers. I'm not a big runner. This is the best Saucony so far for my nursing feet/legs/back. The angle of the shoe is different and gives great calf/back support. These are my go to for being on my feet all day. I’m getting a back-up pair!

    • Maybe it’s me… fit not quite right

I waited till I had them a couple months and I have alternated always different shoes. So I can honestly compare it to others. I can tell you honestly that the left shoe is never quite fitting. Both shoes laces. Also seem to loosen up a lot and I have to double tie it so it doesn’t come undone. In both shoes, but especially the left one, it is a little bit loose in the back and there’s no adjustment to the laces that will make that right. The result of the looseness in the back of the shoes and especially the left one is that my foot always feels like it’s going to come out of it and it moves around in a way that makes it distracting… and it throws my gait off so that my left hip hurts after having worn it. As far as the laces go, I guess I could replace them, but I kind of feel like an issue this expensive I should be able to use what’s here. I have another pair of the same brand that is a different style that I don’t have either of these problems with. Now I will say this: they are stylish and well-made, and the bottoms of my feet don’t really hurt, because the sole is thick. ... show more

Great looking shoe, fits well, runs about 1/2 size short (width is perfect) to other brand athletic shoes my wife wears. Have to return the size to 6.5, but the quality of the shoe is impressive. I will update more after she wears the for a while. (1st Saucony shoe purchaser, I like so far)
