Wow!! I wore this dress for a fundraising gala and I was in love!! I normally don’t like the one shoulder look but with this dress it was great! Super thick, quality material (not in a way that’s too hot, you can just tell it’s good material and not the thin cheap stuff). It is so flattering if you have big hips, the cinching pulls just right. Such a comfy dress too! I will say I’m 5’2 and you can see in the photo where the dress hit me with heels on, so taller people should be aware of that. The dress fit my like a glove and I didn’t need any alterations. The slit was just enough to still be elegant. I received A TON of compliments and it held up all night. The fabric feel is not quite as soft as expected but it’s not see through, is very stretchy, and is flattering. The only downside was that the color isn’t as deep of a green as it looks in the pictures but it’s pretty close so it’s not a dealbreaker. Overall a good buy for the price 👍🏼

I am 5 feet tall and normally wear a size 4 or 6. This dress fabric has stretch and fits really well. I love it, and felt very elegant wearing it to a black tie gala. The pleats in the front do a nice job of hiding the tummy, and the diagonally designed slit made my legs look long and slender. I had 3 inches of the dress shortened in order for it to fall at the strap of my 6" heels I was wearing. I didn't want to risk my heels getting snagged in a longer hem and trip on stairs cases. The dress is not lined, which is ok in an evening event because it is too dim to notice the seams when you walk. For a formal black tie event during the day, since the dress is not lined, the hem of the back of the dress will be noticeable when the slit opens as you walk, which makes the dress cheap looking compared to other dresses being worn by other women. This dress, though undeniably pretty, sadly didn't flatter me as I had hoped. Despite its charming appearance, the fit wasn't quite right, and it didn't accentuate my figure in the way I envisioned. I must note that it was well-made and not see-through, which is a definite plus.

Rating 5 stars bc the dress is very beautiful and definitely well made and looks amazing! Its not see through at all, and is comfortable material. I'm only returning it bc we got the smallest size (small) and my skinny 14 year old is tiny (wears size 00 in jeans) and she says this dress wasn't tight enough ::eyeroll:: I'd say the sizing is true though, she's just super picky. ... show more
