A main culprit for pressure loss in tires seems to be the valve, on a motorcycle or on a car. With these valve caps – they have to have a gasket! – you won't stop air loss completely, but slow it down considerably. For hard-to-reach valve locations I'd prefer a slightly more ribbed exterior. I would have loved also silver or grey option instead of black, but that's minor. Recommended. ... show more

    • I really needed this - so many missing caps

When I put air in a tire, I take the cap off the valve stem, set it on the ground next to the tire, air up the tire, and then replace the valve stem cap. Despite this very simple and clear routine, I have several tires, on cars, bikes, etc., missing caps. These fit, but they are smaller than some others that I have seen, especially on car tires, however the cap does still protect the end of the valve stem, which is what it is supposed to do. Works great on bikes and wagons/carts. Having 30 is probably a bit overkill, but I'd rather have 30 than 4. ... show more

If you're worried these are the super-thin, ABS plastic caps that tend to split down the middle when tightened just slightly too much, well, thankfully, they're not those. No complaints whatsoever. A very no brainer inexpensive upgrades to your wheels. I never knew they have such with O rubber rings. Might help or might not BUT 30pcs for less than $5? Thank you! I replaced all mine on 2020 Escalade with these. Good quality unlike cheap plastic ones. Wanted to replace the ones on my 2023 Tesla but they have the O rings on them. Will keep for backup for sure. ... show more
