  • Very hard to remove
Color: Coastal Blue Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I have a high cervix and tilted uterus. But when I say high I mean I can insert my full middle finger and depending on the day I can't touch the cervix (that's over 8 cm and about 3 in deep). I tried the Lily cup which is recommended for high cervix but I was only able to put in on right 10% of the time. Since it's so soft, it's extra tricky to get it placed correctly inside. The times I was able to do that, it was great. But I couldn't figure it out over 4 months of use so I wanted to try this disc. This Saalt disk works every time. Follow the instructions and there is no way to put it incorrectly, in my experience. No more leaks, no more staining my clothes or feeling nervous about leaving a trace of my presence when I sat down in upholstered furniture. Regardless of activity level, it will stay in place. My flow is normal (perhaps a little more heavy on the second day) and I didn't have an issue with that because... if you do kegels when you're sitting on the toilet it will empty itself without you having to remove it!!! I couldn't believe I waited so long to try this thing. Truly my only complaint is the notch for removal does just not provide enough grip for someone with my anatomy. I essentially have to fist myself in the shower to remove it. So, I'm going to try other disc models that have a "string" or something to make it easier to retrieve the disc for high cervix people. ... show more

  • Ditch the stem - gain dignity and comfort
Color: Regular Blue & Small Coral Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
Wow - this is life changing, on so many levels. 10 reasons I’m never using the other cup shape again: 1) two different sized cups. A larger one for the first days of your period, and a smaller till it’s gone. They come with little color coded bags for big and small, and frankly they look cute for a period product (which is nice, because we spend an awful lot of time having it) 2) it’s shallow & soft: no aggressive suctioning of the cervix, it gently sits there, and doesn’t put pressure on the bladder. Doesn’t feel like a mass of silicon - can’t even feel it (to the point I forget it’s there) 3) easy to take out, even while standing, without any spillage (thanks to the little handle pit - orient this to the front) 4) not a tampon - this feels clean and dignifying. No biohazard waste and bin disposal. It’s super discreet. 5) no leaks yay (and mine is heavy, and lasts 1 to 1.5 weeks) - that’s no leaks sleeping, sitting, standing, exercising 6) much more comfortable than the disposable ones, less edges, softer, smaller in general (the disposable one-size-fits-all can feel like you’re inserting a hula hoop with a plastic bag attached 🫨) 7) pays itself off quickly esp compared to tampons. Can’t comment on environmental footprint of silicon - but I do know cotton, which tampons and pads are made of, carries an enormous environmental footprint, and is a major consumer of water. 8) can have sex if you want to 9) mega easy to clean 10) my favorite part of this - NO STEM. That stem and the ridges on some cups irritate massively after a few days of use Glad I took this gamble - what a life improver. Don’t even question whether to purchase the 2 pack. ... show more

  • Not Long Nails Friendly
Color: Sunset Coral Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
Made the mistake of purchasing this not realizing it would be next to impossible to remove with long nails. It functions perfectly for its intended use, but getting it out gave me a whole panic attack... if you have longer nails, avoid this style of disc that does not have a string of any kind.

  • Good product but doesn’t work for me
Color: Coastal Blue Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I think this is a great product. I’ll not be able to use it, unfortunately, but that has more to do with my shape that any fault of the product. I started using menstrual discs over 20 years ago, so I’m not a newby here. This is my first time trying a reusable disc. This product is a bit smaller in circumference than what I’m used to and a bit more ridged in its flexibility. There wasn’t an issue with insertion and it slid easily into place. For warning: there is about to be TMI Pros- - I have to say this was the most comfortable disc I’ve used, probably because it’s a bit smaller. I couldn’t feel it at all. - No leaks. Even after a violent sneeze. I feel confident enough that I don’t even use a backup panty liner. - Removal was “cleaner” than the disposable disc. Cons- - The removal notch shifts, so it’s not where it’s supposed to be when you need it. I have I tilted cervix, so I can barely (and I mean barely) reach it to start with. In order to rotate it I have to jam my hand where I was not meant to go. 😳 I can’t bend that way too easily either. - It fit too well. (I know, that’s a good thing) It could be because I can barely get to the removal notch to start with, but it doesn’t want to come back out. I’m talking about having to do a deep squat and bearing down. I have to birth it out! 😂 Overall, I do recommend it. I’m disappointed that I wont be able to continue to use it. My girly bits can’t take that kind of repeated abuse for 4 days in a row, and I’m not that flexible anymore. ... show more
