I had other glasses that were so thin they broke just by filling with ice from the dispenser. These were thicker and had a nice traditional look that would even blend with my crystal on holidays. However they were too narrow. The bridge of my nose would bump it while drinking and I'm a smallish woman. I can't imagine my big husband would be comfortable. They went back. Btw, there have been lots of complaints about glasses arriving broken, but maybe the company has addressed that because these were individually wrapped in a thick foam sleeve and packed in a segmented box. The manufacturer's box however was not inserted in a padded larger box, only a tight fitting cardboard Amazon box. So maybe they could be broken under too much weight. But like I said, mine were fine. Just not wide enough. ... show more
