I bought this wig for a halloween costume. Straight out of the box the hair is soft and natural looking, not too shiny. The smell wasn’t great but spraying it with deodorant and dry shampoo worked. There was a lot of hair that I cut off because it was so bulky and thick. The bangs were also too long and thick so I adjusted those as well. I also used a steamer and other styling tools to loosen the curls and have the hair lay the way I wanted. Lastly, I plucked the part and cut some of the cap underneath so it would lay flatter. Overall, if you have some youtube tutorials and styling tools on hand, this is a satisfactory wig. The cap alone is itchy but most would wear a wig cap underneath. 7.5/10 ... show more

Could I critique this week seven ways to Sunday? Yes. But in reality it is a cheap wig and I was stunned at the quality! With most cheap wigs you can expect thicker and more coarse “hairs” however this wig is very soft and doesn’t seem to tangle any more than my others. I had to trim the bangs because they were too long and I can’t say I’m a big fan of the way the hairs are connected to the cap and the way that makes the part look, but you ultimately get what you pay for and some. I have these wigs in many colors. Some of them: the purple, for example, look fantastic, and pretty natural ! Some, like the green, look way too shiny for everyday use, and are more for costumes. The black is one of those. In the photo, it looks more like a dark brown, In reality, it is that very glossy, unnatural goth black of someone who freshly died their hair the blackest possible black. That has its place in costuming, which is what I will use it for, but I was hoping for something more like the picture, which I could use daily. ... show more

I got this wig for a Ramona Flowers costume it took a bit of work and I obviously had to cut it a bit to get Ramona's classic hair style but it turned out perfectly. It is a bit shiny still though even with soaking it in fabric softener and loading it up with dry shampoo, but I'm still super happy with it. ... show more

I really love this wig. It seems I've been to several events lately that were "made more fun" by everyone wearing a wig and in my bag of wigs, this one is always a popular choice. I will say that it took some doing with styling tools to make it right. It arrived with one side looking awesome (just like the photo) and the other pretty severely crunched. I had to spend some time to get the disheveled side to look like the perfect beach wave side. If it weren't for that issue, I'd have given it 5 stars. You may also have to trim the bangs, but that's just a matter of head shape and forehead length. Very cute and great color! ... show more
