  • Sounds good, hangy thing is crap
I purchased this to add to my toddler's music instrument collection. He enjoys playing this, and the sound is pleasing. Unfortunately, the elastic string and the plastic knob it came with is very poor quality. I've learned that a small stand can be purchased or made that would hold the triangle and eliminate the need for the string and knob which just falls off when not in use.. Paco Triangle with Stand For less than five bucks I'm still satisfied. ... show more

  • You'll lose the red ball
The triangle is nice, the sound is nice. But the red ball, which you must have in order to hold it, will probably be lost because it slips off too easily, there's no way to keep it fixed to the open triangle and if you're getting this for a child, the red ball will probably be nowhere to be found after the first day. ... show more

  • Great toy
My daughter is 20 months old and loved the one she saw on her Baby Einstein video, so I got this for her as a toy. She loves it and its a great quality instument. Like the other reviews say, the red handle piece does come off easily, and it could be a choking hazzard, so I just hold it for her or use a rubber band instead, which works just as well, if not better. The rubber band actually grips it if tied tightly, so there's no fear of it coming off. ... show more

  • My lawyer already sent me a pic of her son playing this instrument sitting in his car seat on the way to SCHOOL! WOW!
Her little son Graham looks like he is having a great time in the back seat in his car seat! I can visualize a new drummer or an amateur rock and roll musician, to make up for his grandmothers inability to get ANY of her three boys to learn to play the piano! Sam wanted to play second base for the YMCA Wilson Wolves, Steve was just not interested, and John John was not able! Can't WIN them all, but it is NICE TO WIN SOME OF THEM! WIN ... show more

  • Cute instrument for kids
This triangle has a nice sound and is great for young children. I only wish that the little hanger was attached better. It slipped off hundreds of times and we eventually lost it. We've looped a thick elastic hair band around the top and our daughter can bang away now.

  • contrarian review
Plus - inexpensive. Con - really disappointing sound. This is a toy! - and as such produces an annoying clang when struck. I really wish there was an inexpensive triangle that produced a lovely sound. To get there is a mega bucks investment - the Sabian bronze triangle at $42.00. Other inexpensive rhythm instruments provide an equal experience. Save your money and don't buy this. ... show more

  • Fun!
I bought this for my 4 year old daughter as a birthday gift, since she had requested a triangle. She has loved it and plays with it regularly. It's sturdy enough to stand up to a 4 year old playing with it, but it is still a good quality instrument that a much older child or adult would enjoy as well. ... show more

  • maybe for a child
A little clumsy for me to handle - thought it might be a little larger. Sound not that unique or strong.
