We bought this a while ago, and have loved it! It was easy to set up and figure out. I would recommend. However, the nob on the shower head is a weaker plastic, and was often hard to turn( it didn't seem to catch valve well) and would often pop off. After some time the nob broke(as shown in the picture above), so we have been using pliers to adjust it. Great product, makes bathing the dogs easier. But was a bit disappointed in the quality of the nob. :/ ... show more

    • Great water pressure.
I got this to use on my dogs when giving them a bath. The pressure is great for getting all of the soap out of my huskies coat. I just wish it had a holder to attach it to the wall.

    • Two words of caution
I initially thought of giving 4 stars but the issue I have is due to our shower controls, not the product. The product is solid, seals well and works just as it should. The hose is nice and long and can reach the back bottom of our shower/tub no problem. 1) Although ... the little wall attachment included to hang the nozzle on is designed to be screwed into the wall ala drywall. I don't know how high you'd expect to hang that nozzle but it would make more sense to make the back of that attachment solid so you can use some double-sided tape to affix it to the shower wall. As it is, it's hollow with two screw holes. I suppose you could use glue or something or actually drill into your shower tub wall. Or, affix it 7 feet up on the drywall. So yeah, now that I think about it: 4 stars. *CAUTION* Know your water handles. If you have the standard two-handles/knobs for hot and cold water then you're fine. If you're like me and have the one circular handle that controls both the temperature and water pressure as you rotate it, then I would pass on this product. With that circular handle, you can't get hot water flowing unless it's just about full pressure, right? Well this product doesn't allow you to modulate the pressure coming out of its extension. And for us, it is WAY TOO HARD for any puppy. It's too hard for a human hand. This nozzle concentrates all that pressure and absolutely blasts the water like a concrete pressure washer. You *can* hold the lever at *just* the right pressure to get a 25% flow but the tolerance is super sensitive. No way you'll be able to keep that precise pressure on the lever while handling your dog. You couldn't do it for more than 5sec just holding the hose itself. It's like a hair trigger. And one blast from the full pressure and your dog will absolutely get hammered. ... show more

    • Better than expected quality
I just installed this today so I can't comment on the longevity of this item. However, here's the feedback so far: The long hose is awesome - it reaches down to the tub floor and then some. This is a must-have feature if you are going to wash a dog (or a small child as I plan to do). I have already made good use of this hose to rinse the bath area during a good cleaning. I noticed a lot of other similar products on Amazon have shorter hoses. It is also nice that this comes with a holder for the sprayer handle, which I screwed into a window frame above the bath. The bracket is solid metal and seems to connect securely. Teflon tape is provided with the product, however you will need more than this if you want to tape all the connections properly (I used some extra I had on hand). The only leak I see so far is a tiny amount of drip coming from the connection between the shower arm and the bracket, which I anticipated as there is extra water pressure here when you have the handle in the "off" position. I could probably prevent the leak if I taped it up a little better but it doesn't bother me. The switch from the main shower head to the sprayer works well. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the pressure that comes out of the sprayer is very strong, probably too strong. I did what another reviewer recommended (thank you, sir!) and used a small drill bit to widen the holes on the sprayer a bit, which solved the problem, but it would have been nice if the sprayer had more pressure control to begin with. ... show more

This seems to be a quality item however, for me, it has two deficiencies. One is the lever, as others have noted, is very slick especially when you add a soapy wet dog. I need to find a way to add texture to it as it's almost impossible to keep your thumb on it when it's wet and you add shampoo/conditioner to the mix. The other is the power of the spray. While people with larger dogs might appreciate how strong it is we have a 20# miniture poodle and it's hard to give his head area a gentle rinse. I could wash my truck with this nozzle. I could just press the lever less, I guess, if I could keep my thumb on it..... Update: Seller advised me that if I lifted the lever instead of pressing it it would lock in the on position. This negates the slick lever problem. That left the spray pressure as my only complaint. I tried to upload a video but couldn't get it done. The spray holes directed the water into each other and the water intersected about a foot out of the nozzle creating a very forceful spray. I looked at the holes and they were tiny with a small round indent around each hole. Looked like they were not formed properly in the mold. I took the smallest drill bit in my set and it fit these indents perfectly so I drilled them out and then blew out the nozzle with compressed air to make sure no little pieces of plastic were left in the nozzle. What a difference! It works like I expected it to from the factory. I'm sure now that people thought I was crazy saying I could wash my truck with this nozzle but it was barely an exaggeration.
