Features

  • PATENTED TECHNOLOGY: Polara Ultimate Straight Self Correcting Golf Balls are for the golfer who wants to consistently play from the fairway instead of hooking or slicing off the tee. The unique 2-piece construction consists of a central core and an outer cover.
  • HOW IT WORKS: From the tee, point the arrow on the ball directly at your target, or line it up with the center of the fairway. From the fairway, play the ball "as it lies" or point the arrow at your target for maximum correction.
  • OPTIMIZED LIFT: Our Straight Self Correcting Golf Balls fly so straight because they exhibit optimum aerodynamic lift that maximizes distance and minimizes the effects of sidespin.
  • ENJOY YOUR GAME: Our golf balls are designed to correct hooks and slices which means, if you slice a golf ball 100 feet, the exact same swing with our anti-slice golf ball would slice about 25 ft. or less, keeping in the fairway instead of the rough.
  • BEST BALL HERO: Playing in a scramble? Long straight drives will have your foursome praising your new game. Flies straight, guaranteed!

  • Not for me, but they are silly straight
Style: US Matte White
So just to set the stage, I am about a 9 handicap and hit the ball pretty straight, slight baby draw, but pretty straight, and I like to work the ball with a draw and a fade. My miss is a duck hook, and I wanted to see how these balls would help that miss. Also, I wanted to know if it would help the super slicers in my foursome. I decided I would play 18 holes, 9 with the Polara and 9 with my trusty ProV1. 1st hole - Par 4, 4 hybrid low and super straight piped down the middle of a tight par 4. The first impression is that the ball didn't get very much height, but I figured that was just a bad first swing. I get to my ball with about 108 to the pin thinking cool, little sand wedge should leave me just below the pin and a nice birdy putt. I hit the ball well, and holy crap, I flew the green by about 20 yards. Ok, so maybe I pulled up my big boy pants, and that's on me. Chip back to the green and nice 1 putt for par. Thank god the pin was in because the ball just fired off the putter. Again, thinking that was weird. 2nd hole - Par 5, time to bring out the Lama, "big hitter the Lama". Put a good swing on the ball, and again it didn't get any height and had a bizarre, kind of knuckling flight to the ball. The second shot topped the crap of the ball, so my fault. Thrid shot 165 yards to the middle of the green with a slight wind, so perfect 8 iron. Put a good swing on the ball, and it flys dead straight at the pin, and crap, I flew the green again. Damnit, ball is in the hazard, drop, chip, and three putts. Triple! Just as before, the ball fires off the putter. 3rd hole - Par three, redemption hole. 186 yards to the flag, little wind behind, and a good 7 iron hole. Another good swing on the ball, and it's straight as an arrow covering the flag, until I notice it's going, going.....crap long again. Drop, chip, and another 3 putt. So without making this review any longer, I shot a 49 on the front nine with the Polara balls. I hit 4 of 7 fairways with two of the 3 missed fairways being long, 3 three putts and lots of missed greens long. I put my trusty ProV1 in play on the back nine and shot a 38, only missing 2 fairways and 1 three putt. I found with the Polara ball that I wasn't getting the height from my longer clubs that I got from the ProV1, and I was losing significant distance off the tee with the driver, around 20 yards but absolutely smashing my irons long, about 10 extra yards. Also, the pop off the ball from the putter was crazy, and I found it very hard to control the speed of my putts. Do they fly straight? Absolutely, but if you work the ball with a draw or fade, forget about it you can't. For the better player, stick to your normal ball, but for someone who struggles with hitting the ball straight, this may make the game a bit more fun and help you lower your scores. ... show more

  • Great for the weekend player who wants to enjoy the round more.
Style: US White
Like most. I love the game. Have played since in my teens, in my ladder 40’s now and still plagued with the annoying slice issue that most weekend golfers have. Just finished my first round with these. 18 holes. Not a ball lost. That makes it immediately more enjoyable. Used this ball for all tee shots. Irons and woods. Chose to use my typical softer ball for my 2nd and so on finesse shots closer to the green. As the other review’s mention. Minor loss of distance was noticed but not enough that I even cared. Still sitting roughly the same distance as the other golfers I was playing like usual but in the short grass instead of the rough. Did notice a different sound when hitting these balls. Not the typical crisp sound that fairway woods make when ball is hit crisp. We all know that sound. Even had a par 3. 116 yards. Used a pitching wedge. Ball hit roughly 14 inches from the hole and backed up to 8 inches from the hole. So product will still produce backspin. Only negative of the day. If ball is not hit firm. Balls don’t seem to go as far as a normal compression balls but again ball was not hit solidly. All and all. I, like most was skeptical of the validity of this product when I purchased it but when and if I loose several I will purchase these again. Ball may not be “legal” for use in professional tournament play but I accepted years ago I’m not going to get my PGA card anytime soon. Deliberately didn’t mention to my friends till the 12th hole to see if they would notice. All finally wanted to know how I was consistently staying in the fairway. Showed the product to them. All said same statement. “Who cares” and all 3 borrowed a ball from me to use and all returned the ball back to me at the end of the round. Because they didn’t loose there ball either. All stated they would be purchasing these balls. Very solid product that performs exactly how it is promised. Thank you for increasing the enjoyment of my favorite pastime. ... show more

  • They work... really. I got a hole in one.
Style: US Matte White
I am not a good golfer and hardly go after having two kids. Very unpredictable drives. These worked great. When i made good contact it was always a great shot hit were intended. To top it off.. 165 yard tee'd up a little shot, first hole in one first time using these. Made a lot of great putts also. I hadn't golfed in 3 years about. I can't wait to go again. Thank you. ... show more

  • As advertised
Style: US White
This will help you not slice or hook, but as the company actually says, it will cut distance. But there is a caveat to this distance reduction. I can smash a normal ball 280 to 300 in fair conditions. I can't get the Polara over 220 yards. It just dives early in flight. However, it actually goes 10+ yards farther with wedges to 5 iron. Likely a softer compression that is accounting for the driver distance limitation. Should be obvious but one can still push and pull the ball to extremes. If you align the arrow on the Polara to target like you would a putt, it is a lot harder to purposely hook or slice/fade the ball. So playing recreationally for friendly bets, i use a normal ball for driving and Polara for approaches and par 3s. ... show more

  • Too Straight
Style: XS White
I bought these as a joke didn't, think they'd work as well as they did. If you line em up like you're supposed to, these balls fly SOO straight. I mainly noticed they fly straight when hit with a driver, not so much when using irons even if you're tee'd up and lined up. I gave a sleeve to my brother and one to my dad, they got a kick out of how straight they fly. The balls are smoother down the centerline and have less dimples which is why the fly straighter. Its very obvious if you look closely at the ball ... show more
