I bought these for our 21 Subaru Outback XT. It came with some lower end Yokohamas. I’ve only driven these Pirellis a few hundred miles in the dry, but they are very quiet and smooth riding. Bumps I used to feel pretty hard before are very muted with these. Also in the curves, the car feels like it’s on rails. The sidewalls of the Yokohamas felt mushy, these feel much stiffer in a good way. Going up paved steep back mountain roads, these feel like they claw their way up with ease. This is a very good tire. This is my 2nd set of these tires, the first set lasted about 40k miles, which is pretty good for me due to my maniacal driving style. TireRack was out of stock in my size so I bought from Simple Tire. The price was about $15 per tire better than any local supplier. The shipping was very fast. (3 arrived in 3 days and the 4th arrived the day after the others.) The tires are only about 6-7 months old (DOT 0422), which is pretty decent. These somehow ride very smooth, and are yet responsive. All those choppy bumps like at rail crossings and bridge expansion joints no longer rock-your-coffee to splashing. High speed stability: these just settle right in, and track without any lively steering corrections. (Just cost too much...)
