I am running this on a brand new Dell G7 with: - 16 GB ram - i7 8750 - GeForce 1050 Ti And this software is constantly crashing! You can't preview any videos... total waste of time. But because it is software, I'm stuck with it.

Do NOT I repeat DO NOT buy this studio program. It is a waste of money, period. Now as far as my testimony, the program itself has great features, a great look and a few average add-ons for intermediate to advanced people to work with; just one problem: IT DOESN'T WORK! I am not a Guru but really knowledgeable when it comes to computers and programs. I am usually the person my friends and family call when they're having technical issues. That being said the tech support team at Pinnacle treated me as if I barely new how to turn a system on. I am surprised they didn't ask me if it was plugged in to the wall. Even worse than that they wouldn't listen to the issues I was having, be sure they wanted to throw a thousand answers at me I didn't need. I had to send them screen shots three times after explaining the program would not start, just give me a blank screen. After uninstalling/installing 3-4 times, countless system reboots etc I called tech support one more time. The lady (which was the most rude) said she would call me back in 30 minutes.. when they close in 15 minutes... So I waited and gave her the benefit of the doubt and No call. I returned this product ASAP and didn't get my money back but rather a Amazon credit, which is ok but If you read this and still decide to buy it, there's a bridge in Brooklyn I have listed on Craigslist.     • Very disappointed
I have used Pinnacle Studio for years since they first came out and have always been pleased. I do amateur videos and Pinnacle takes it up a notch. I always knew that the Pinnacle software takes a lot of RAM and memory so I also had high-end computers to handle it. The sad thing is this latest version (23) takes so much memory that it crashes and shuts down very often with even the smallest projects. I have a newer laptop with Windows 10, 64x, 16GB RAM, 1 T solid state ; Intel i7 1.80 GHz. I ended up using the free Movie Maker Pro for my project and it worked great. ... show more

    • Misleading information details on functionality and Horrible Horrible Customer Support
I bought this product to use it's MultiCam features which is something I needed for a project. I was torn between Corel MultiCam + Pinnacle Studio 23 Ultimate or vMix Live Production & Streaming Software. I went ahead and picked the Corel combination plus I also purchased the upgraded version of Corel MultiCam. Going the Corel route was a very big mistake and extremely frustrating. I was not able to get MultiCam Upgrade to work with Corel Studio 23 Ultimate, even though I got the request to upgrade MultiCam from within Pinnacle Studio. Pinnacle Studio comes with MultiCam lite and once you start using it, it gives you the prompt to upgrade. After an entire week of back and forth with Corel Customer Support, I have not gotten any further. Corel Customer Support so far have been very simplistic to the point where I find what they are suggesting to be backward. I do not want to paint all of Corel Customer Support to be utter useless, but so far I have dealt with 3 different people and it seems that they are stuck on stupid. It is my hope that someone from Corel will read this review and do the right thing and contact me or take a look at ticket #5930338. If the product does not work as advertised, please point me in the direction to get a refund of the two purchases. ... show more

Overall very disappointed in the rendering phase of this software. A couple of key remarks: Most free editing software has limited audio output formats on export rendering. So does Pinnacle Ultra and it is not free. After 7 attempts I can not merge 4 videos segments into one video without a 1 to 2 second delay in the audio transcoding. The working file is good. Upon the export rendering Pinnacle 23 Ultra produces an out of synch product. Voices without moving lips is just trash. ... show more

I am running Pinnacle Studio 23 Ultimate on a high end Dell with an I7 processor, 16 GB memory, a 256GB SSD drive, and a 1TB hard drive. I have done a good bit of video editing but that was 12-14 years back. Boy, has editing changed. I am amazed at all the things this editor will do. To get help, I have down loaded the manual. That helps a lot. I have also found there are a lot of Utube videos also. That also helps a lot. I do think it will take me a long time to be able to do everything without looking up how to do something. I was a computer person for 41 years. I have the patience. It takes a lot of that. ... show more
