    • Works and did not irritate my very sensitive skin
I've been using this daily for a few weeks and I'm pretty pleased. I had visible improvement in acne, hyperpigmentation, and fine lines after my first night of use, and it's only gotten better from there in my few weeks of daily use. I use it before bedtime and layer CeraVe night cream on top after it's absorbed. I tried it without the cream the first two nights, and while it wasn't very drying, I just need more moisture than it provides on its own. I have super sensitive, visibly reactive skin that still suffers from routine breakouts despite being in my 40's. I had terrible reactions to previous retinol products I tried over the years - extreme dryness, burning, break outs, you name it - so I gave up on it ages ago. I just started developing a few fine lines in the last year so that weren't responding to anything that used to work for me and have been finding that my skin is starting to really need way more moisture than it ever did before, so after trying what felt like everything non-retinol that cost less than a car payment, I finally decided to give this a try.     • I was allergic to prescription Retinol but this product has worked wonders for my skin!
I bought this product strictly for the Retinol in it. It has less than the Retinol product my doctor wrote for me, which actually burnt my skin so badly, I had to remove it immediately! I am vain enough to want to lessen some of my wrinkles, even though I'll be seventy in a few days. And I would never have said I was vain. Sad, isn't it? I should preface what I say by saying I have extremely sensitive skin and I'm allergic to many skin products. I also have extremely dry skin, which has gotten drier with age or perhaps as a side effect to medication I take. I use a serum, a regular dry skin moisturizer (both from different companies and not from Paula's) and afterward, and only at night, I put this product on the areas where I have deepening wrinkles. To my great surprise, it's made the wrinkles much less obvious, especially the wrinkle between my eyes that I've had for years and years. I think this formed from the many headaches I had s when I was young and chronic pain I currently have. My husband says he's never noticed me frowning and someone told me you get these wrinkles from wearing sunglasses that are too heavy for you but nevertheless, I've had that stupid frown wrinkle since I was in college. The cream, alone, is not at all moisturizing for me but that is due to my ridiculously dry skin. I recommend trying this product when you are young, and you may not have any wrinkles when you get older! And if you're old like me, give it a shot!     • terrible bottle, can't get the product out
You would think that for 40 dollars they would actually make a bottle that pumps. I have no idea what the product does cuz I have only been able to get product like twice. The bottle does not pump the product up and you cannot unscrew the top either. Even the cheapest products have bottles that work, nice 40dol down the drain ... show more

I am a huge PC fan. I am using this along with the CLEAR line and up until a week ago her Vitamin C Serum. (I switched to a new one because the PC one was too expensive and I used is 2x a day so it was a monthly expense-- I am now using "OZ Naturals - THE BEST Vitamin C Serum For Your Face - Organic Vitamin C + Amino + Hyaluronic Acid Serum- Clinical Strength 20% Vitamin C with Vegan H" ) I wanted to start using a Retinol to my routine but everything I have tried in the past has dried my skin out SO bad. So I thought this was perfect since its in a moisturizer. I use this at night as my last step. I have only been using for about a week but I can see a difference. I had a red bump on my cheek for like 3 months (was not a zit it was just a red bump and it appeared out of no where) and it is completely gone! The consistency is nice and moisturizing. I have combo oily/dry skin. It has no scent whatsoever.(I have read on her website some people said it smells- but they must have super sensitive noses because I dont smell anything) I like her products because they are fragrance free and she does not test on animals :) ... show more

I love the product inside but the bottle is horrible. I have tried smacking it and pumping it upside down and it just doesn't work. I disassembled the bottle to find the air holes on the bottom of it and am able to push it up using a paperclip to get product pumping, but I have to do this every time I want to use the product. I will not buy this again due to how much of an inconvenience the bottle is (but the product is good). ... show more

I've been buying this product from Paula's Choice for over a year with no problems, but I bought it on Amazon Subscribe & Save, delivered June 5, the pump won't release any product after opening it last night. Amazon said my expected replacement is to come Aug 16, over 6 weeks from now, and I need to return the defective one by July 6, 3 days from now on a holiday weekend, in order to get that replacement. Ridiculous. I'm not only out the product, I can't get a replacement for a long time (it's $32) and I have to rush out to return it. The product itself is good.
