I was so excited to receive this sugar bowl. My daughter and I drink several glasses of tea daily. We recently found the perfect sugar cane sugar cubes so I wanted a nice bowl to put them in. For about the first week everything was perfect with this bowl. Then one of the I think it’s called a ribbet . I know it’s not a screw it came out. Maybe we use it too much. The plastic shield arrived with one end not attached. It’s supposed to have a connector that is too big to fit through the hole, however, it just slips in and out very easily on only one side. In addition the plastic shield came with multiple scratches, at least five of them. This was purchased as a gift for someone’s bar sets however I definitely cannot give this away.     • Not easy to clean. Arrived with a hairline crack near the knob on the plastic top.
Difficult to clean and dry the plastic dome as you cannot reach all of it. Had planned to use it for sugar cubes but likely it will end up in my donate to thrift shop box.

Top of bowl was plastic. Cheaply made. The first one that was sent the plastic top was destroyed and the box that it came was thickness of a cereal box.
