    • Does what I need it to do
This has everything I was looking for. Adjustable diopter, I can adjust the focus when zoomed in at close range and it has mil dots. I don't use the illuminated reticles but they do work. It feels pretty sturdy. Better than the scope that came with my pellet rifle. Those close 15-20 yd shots with my pellet rifle at max magnification is pretty clear with this scope. I have bought 3 of these and all are great sight picture for the cost and hold zero great, this one unfortunately even on my lightest 22 long rifle can’t hold zero…took me multiple trips to the range and a lot of money in ammo to figure out why it wouldn’t stay on…I have liked their other sights but very disappointed in this one and won’t be recommending these anymore ... show more

This is a full kit, so you don’t need to buy additional rings. It’s a good scope, with good magnification and it performs well in low light. Easy to Mount and balance. An affordable alternative that performs. You won’t be disappointed.

For the price, this scope is surprisingly good. The construction is relatively stout, with the majority of the frame being metal, and a few of the smaller parts being a high strength plastic. As for the quality of these parts, some of them leave something to be desired. For instance, the scope mounts came poorly packaged and thus are covered with small dings and scratches. This isn't a huge issue as they're aluminum, but it's still a little disappointing right out of the box. Secondly, the threading on the dust covers for the windage adjustment is really rough. You can tell they cut the threads and then painted over them, which makes the cap screw on a little crusty. I don't think it'll gall the threads, but it's something to consider if you buy this scope. To wrap it up, the scope itself is decent, the adjustment knobs are easy to turn, and the focus point of the eye piece is set to a nice distance. ... show more

    • Fantastic Value for Budget 3x9 Scope
I have this mounted on a 0.177 pellet rifle with weaver mounts. Since this scope comes scope ring mounts for 20mm rails, I opted to get scope ring mounts for a weaver mount (vs an adapter that would make the scope sit higher than I would like). This scope has good eye relief and an adjustable diopter that goes from 0 to infinity (its essentially how you adjust focus - those who use binoculars will be familiar with this concept). The illuminated reticle is nice and bright (it uses the standard CR 2032 button cell batteries). I am able to adjust the focus to get a clear picture at 9x zoom. This scope holds a zero for a pellet rifle, but I am not sure it will hold zero for anything with more pep. I am happy with this for my applications. If you're looking for a budget scope that has a lot of features, this might be a good choice for you. ... show more

    • Hard to beat for the price.
While there are some areas in which this second focal plane scope could be better, for $35, you really can't complain that much. While optic clarity isn't phenomenal, it's not bad either. The illuminated reticle works fairly well. I like the option to choose red or green illumination. At its brightest setting, there is a lot of reflection which can be annoying so just plan on keeping it on settings 1-4. My biggest complaint though is the thumb stud on power magnification ring. As you increase or decrease the magnification, the thumb stud *should* traverse over the top of the scope. Instead, the thumb stud on this scope traverses *under* the scope which makes it hard to reach. But otherwise, the fact that this scope also comes with its own rings is not too shabby. ... show more
