I followed my order and was a bit worried that it had shipped but not expected for another 3 days, it wasn’t totally frozen but I’ve already eaten two pieces while immediately freezing the rest and it’s some of the best I’ve ever tasted. I’ll be ordering again !

This is great! Having found sushi-grade salmon that I can have shipped to me at a reasonable per-pound rate will keep in stock and happy. I live in the Florida Keys and it is summer. It is hot hot hot. This fish came in a box that was in a silver freezer-type heavily insulated bag. There was a good-sized block of ice in it, and also dry ice (that I accidentally touched...won't do that again! Ouch!) which kept the fish completely rock hard. The fish itself looked good, nothing smelled on the outside of the packaging (ie - no leaks). The delivery guy said the box was 'in the truck' all day as I am near the end of the Keys, and therefore the end of his run. I was worried, then upon opening, extremely pleased. Sushi Sundays can start again, with salmon this time!! ... show more

I ordered salmon and received it completely frozen, great compony, I also ordered tuna from another company the same day and received it completely defrosted and they did not use dry ice. Learned a lesson, if you want good sushi fish get it from oshen.

    • Came defrosted, but still good.
Thankfully it's still good to eat, however I would add at least 2 more ice packs. I actually thought packaging was great except for that. Fish itself was so good, I use it as Sushi and Sashimi. I will buy again.

Arrived with a 3rd thawed or thawing. Fish a bit tough and had fibrous strands. Amazon customer service said it was undefinable and that they would have the company email me about the issue. I have not received the email as of yet.
