I'm usually an XL-1X in dresses, always go by the size chart, and my measurements are 195 lbs, 5'3", 46" bust, 37" waist, 46" hip. I got this dress in the 4X-Large in Black1. I could have sized down 2 sizes for sure - the shoulders literally hung off my shoulders because the straps were so wide. The color is not as vibrant as the photos, and the print seems very cheap. It dragged on the ground a couple inches, and the slip stopped just under my knees - which looks tacky as can be. There is no slit, so the slip should be able to go further down, but it doesn't. The front and sides of the dress are double lined, the top half of the "skirt" portion has a slip, but the back is see-through. ... show more

We ordered two of these dresses for my daughter. The red and the black. They fit as expected, and we were happy that the lining in both matched okay, after what we read from other reviews. The reason I am giving four stars rather than five, is because the pictures of most of the dresses are slightly misleading. They are NOT full, wide and flowy skirts. I needed a dress for an organisation's 40 year celebration. The dress code was formal and I wanted something less formal than the formal dresses in my closet. I read the reviews and figured, it cost less than $30 bucks if it fits bad or looks cheap I could take the loss. Straight out the bag the dress is a vibrant beautiful blue colour. Second, it is thin but not so much to be a bother because it has this slip attached to the waist that goes down to about knee length. As for the bodice, I wouldn't recommend wearing a loud coloured bra, it might be seen through the material. I wore a dark blue one and you couldn't see it. The girls were on display but I did not look as though I was an extra at a strip bar. I am a 38/40M and adequate coverage was maintained. I didn't have to cover up myself as I have had to do with other dresses what have the same bodice cut because I felt self conscious. I am 5 feet 6, the dress stopped about ankle length. This was my only disappointment with this dress. If you are shorter than me it should hit the ground if you are taller it may be above your ankle. I wanted floor length due to the fact that I was wearing flat rhinestone slippers. ( Not in the mood for heels) Overall it was a good buy. I would recommend this dress to any of my curvy sisters out there. It hides your lumps and bumps and the different shades of blue are just gorgeous. To help you out. I’m so disappointed. While the colours are vibrant and alive, the way this dress was sewn together is an abomination to clothing factories everywhere. This dress doesn’t flatter. It makes you look 20 lbs bigger the way it’s cut. The only way I’d recommend this is if you can sew and you can alter it yourself. It’s basically a moo moo with an elastic waist. Cheap!!!!! It’s basically an ill fitting Halloween costume . The material is shiny and the liner idea is LOUD , almost like a 90s windbreaker.
