Fit well and comfortable. Easy to slip on. I have to use a shoe horn to get my other no-lace shoes on without my heel pushing the back of the shoe down. These I am able to slip on easily without help. The drawback I have with these shoes is with the sole. These claim to be slip resistant but I find the opposite. When I first put them on they squeaked just walking on a hardwood floor. The soles had the appearance of being made of cheap plastic and were very shiny and smooth. There is almost no tread to allow water to push out. Walking on a wet surface was a challenge to keep from slipping. After having worn them outside on concrete and gravel for a couple of weeks they have gotten better. The soles have lost their smooth shiny appearance but with such a smooth shallow tread I still feel uncomfortable walking through any standing water no matter how shallow. They still slide easily on hardwood floors although they no longer squeak when I walk. There is no way I would trust them on a wet, oily ceramic tile floor like a kitchen might have. Other reviewers have stated they work well on slippery surfaces and maybe over time as the sole gets roughed up they will, but mine are not yet at that point. Overall they appear well made and remain comfortable to wear but slip resistance is not a trait I find they have. ... show more

Truth be told, I wanted a pair of slip-on sneakers to wear barefooted instead of slippers for walking around my home. Slippers are fine for just before bed, but I wanted slip-ons that I would never wear outside. These shoes are perfect for my use. No, I did not get these as work shoes. The non-slip part is helpful when my floor gets wet from all the dogs we have running in from outside. I can't really say I'll put these hard to that slip test, but I like the feature. The laces are an elastic loop and do not need to be tied. A set of regular laces do come with these shoes in case you prefer those. My shoe size is 11.5. These are a 12 and fit just a little loose without socks, which is exactly what I was looking for. These are extremely comfortable with good support and a nice comfy sole. Even barefoot, I can slip my foot in with little issue. They state these are water resistant, but I can not verify how much water they can actually endure before your feet get wet. Even thought these claim to be water resistant, they did not cause my feet to sweat. Nit-picking: I'm used to shoes coming in a box, not wrapped in cellophane, inside a plastic shipping bag. The inserts inside the shoes used during shipping were Styrofoam, so there were little broken beads of the stuff inside the shoe which I had to blow out before I could put these on. Overall these shoes are perfect for what I wanted to use them for. These are my second pair through the vine program, having really liked the first. This was a 9.5 (normally wear 9 wide) and feel perfect compared to my normal shoes. The first pair (9) still were plenty comfortable and don't feel too tight, but these are just slightly easier to get on and off (would have been perfect to have during a recent move to not step on new laid carpet while having more grip outside in winter). These are just slightly different style for lacing than the others (others had cloth eyes with extra lace to tie. These have no extra and a plastic lacing, with the ends fixed together to just be 1 infinite lace. Unlike the others, these also came with an extra set of traditional laces as well) but otherwise the same good padding, great grip, and lightweight material. From my winter experience, I can't say these are waterproof, but they are fairly resistant. Having to walk through a parking lot with some areas of pretty deep standing water, a little got through but not much. The grip was still good on these, and they dried pretty quick. Personally I like the no tie laces better and the bit of extra width makes these just an all around excellent choice for me, as well as nice looking. The only slight thing I don't like is that when the ship, they are just tied together and a bit of shrink wrap around them instead of a box. Looks a little different and takes a few min to get back/ "find" their natural shape where the tops will have pushed in or to the side. It doesn't last long, is more just comes off as lower quality taping them together than anything, but I'm not a status guy and wouldn't hesitate for a second if that's the worst I can say about them ... show more
