I am a rural mail carrier, and these boots have saved my ankles on more than one occasion. They are very comfortable. Just warm enough to wear in winter with thick socks, but they will be great in summer, too. I'm on my feet for up to 12 hours a day, and these function great in the work room and also out on the route walking on people's varied types of property. When these wear out, I will definitely buy them again. They have a nice, modern style, and they are made of quality leather (the main reason I bought them. Mail carriers are required to wear leather footwear for work). I bought my normal size, and they fit perfectly. They have speed laces, like combat boots, which helps me get ready for work pretty fast while also easily adjusting how tight I want them to be.

Honestly was shocked at how comfortable these shoes are! They looks amazing, are sooo comfy-wore these on my first trip to New York where we walked 24/7 and my feet felt great all day with absolutely no pain and no need to wear them out a bit first.
