These took a long time to assemble as you have to thread nuts on each long threaded spike. I had to continuously tighten the straps to keep them on my boots, and it is a little tedious walking over the entire lawn in them. That being said they do work as intended.

Shoes easily slip out of straps every time you lift your foot to take a step. Doesn't penetrate ground without a significant amount of weight/pressure in your step. I would not purchase again. :(

These seem like a sensible solution for aerating the lawn, but, in my experience, they were hard to keep strapped to the shoes. I was working them in a clay soil yard, so that was a challenge. Next year, I may try gluing them to an old set of shoes and see if that works better.

These feet aerators are a winning concept. They work well. My only criticism regards the quality of the straps, two unraveled during the first use. I’ll definitely use these however and invest in some better straps.
