I just started working as a dental assistant and needed some comfortable shoes with adequate support. I tried a couple of different brands and just kept coming back to my beloved New Balance. I have worn the Nergize New Balance for the past few years and have been satisfied, however, I wanted to try something different this time around because I didn’t like the new style. In the Nergize, I am a size 9, but in the Roav, I believe because of the way the heel design is (it curves back much more than the Nergize), I am my normal size 8.5, and with time after breaking them in, I could have even went down to an 8 (which I may try in the future). I work from 7-5 at our office and have zero complaints with this shoe. The support is there, it doesn’t seem to negatively affect my sciatica issues, and the overall quality of the shoe is there. I also love the look so much that I bought a second pair to have for my everyday use. Overall, these are excellent shoes and I highly recommend, especially for clinical occupation use. ... show more

Size: 7.5 Color: Black/Light Aluminum
This is my second pair of this particular New Balance shoe. They are very comfortable and I can wear them all day. I have flat feet so my arch in one foot causes me a lot of pain and my foot swells. When wearing this shoe I have very little pain or swelling. It also has a wide toe box which is a must for me. I know this is an older style and it may be hard to find. I plan on trying more New Balance walking shoes in the future. ... show more

Beware when ordering these shoes. The tongue of the shoe is attached to the sides. Which means that you can't loosen the laces to get your foot in. My ankles and feet swell sometimes and I need to stretch the tongue and laces out to get my foot in and these did not do that. I forced my foot in them and wore them around hoping they would stretch out a bit and it wouldn't matter but they did not. I then couldn't return since I wore them. I was able to give to my mother but was disappointed that when I bought them I was not aware of this feature and essentially wasted my money. Besides that problem, they are nice shoes. ... show more

I bought these shoes at an everyday sneaker and for that, they do the job. They are cute and go with almost anything I wear to work. I have heel pain/plantar fasciitis and unfortunately have been trying to find insoles to put in these shoes to make them more supportive in that aspect. Of many of the mid-priced New Balance shoes I tried one, these were definitely the most comfortable (some were narrow in the heel and others felt less supportive). ... show more

I really like this shoe. Very nice looking, great heel. The problem for me was the width. It was not wide enough and was too narrow. I needed a wider shoe. Its a nice style. I was disappointed.

I love these sneakers! They are super lightweight and comfortable, color is beautiful! I usually wear a 6.5 but I did order a 7 in these and they fit perfectly. What I really love about them is that they are comfortable right off the bat, you don’t have to break them in, they feel great the minute you put them on. I have some trouble with plantar fasciitis, and these seem to have good arch support, the first day I wore them we walked a huge flea market for a few hours and my feet felt great! The quality seems to be very good as well, I’ve only wore them a few times so I don’t know yet how they will ware over time, but so far I love them and will be purchasing more. ... show more

    • These sneakers are saving my knees
I’ve just started a new exercise routine at 56 with aerobic dance/ cardio and track walking. I’ve also had 4 back surgeries and knee issues from years of favoring my back. Size: 7 Color: Nimbus Cloud/Peach Glaze/Vibrant Pink
I am a nurse a mother and I am on feet more of the day than I am not. These shoes are equally cute comfortable and supportive! I have them in two other colors but these I had to have for spring! I am typically a size 7 or 7 1/2 with a narrow foot and the 7 fits me perfectly but I have had them in a 7 1/2 as well because they didn’t have them in a 7 in the color I wanted and they worked out just fine. I highly recommend! Also they wash up so easily I spray a little oxy clean on them and throw them in the washer and dryer from time to time to keep them looking new! ... show more
