I was so excited to receive these shoes, and had high hopes that they would work well as a good walking shoe during several trips we have planned. They are great looking shoes, and once I figured out how to put them on without actually lifting the tongue up, they felt great on my feet. They felt snug, but allowed enough room for my wide foot to fit comfortably. The only problem is the built-in ridge on the outside of the heel (see photo on left): the same ridge is on the INSIDE of the heel (see 2nd photo - the ridge is black, so difficult to see, but it's there), and it rubs badly enough that I knew I would have blisters in an hour or two. I tried it with a sock, too, but the ridge is firm and definitely rubs enough that I can't wear them. Maybe the ridge has some sort of purpose for runners, I'm not sure. Or maybe even the wide width I ordered doesn't cover a wide heel as well as the toe-box (which is very comfortable). I'm so sad, because this shoe seemed to tick all the boxes for me. I'm returning the shoes, but can highly recommend them for those who aren't bothered by the heel ridge. The search continues.

I purchased these in an 8.5 wide. I’m borderline between needing a wide or standard and I’m very happy with the fit of the wide, especially after a week at Disney and my feet swelled a ton. I packed alternate shoes but these were the only ones that didn’t hurt the majority of the time I wore them. I also bought insoles for them ahead of time and slowly broke them in. I did have foot pain after superrr long days but I think that’s inevitable and had I had the insoles I have now, these would have been perfection 100% of the time. Keep in mind they don’t actually have a separate tongue nor lace up. They’re actually VERY easy to slip on and I can slide them right on without having to bend over because of the design above the heel, it doesn’t fold in when you slide your foot in. It’s great. I love the way they look and feel and they matched all of the outfits I had planned that week. They’re all I’ve worn since I’ve returned. No complaints.

I needed shoes I can run out the door and put on to go to breakfast, the store, etc. I needed shoes I could take off fast and not worry about. These are also perfect for stuffing in a shopping plastic bag, tossing in my big purse or bag to slip into. I took the shoes out of the box and kept the little lace knot that it came with. I have not one untied or tightened up the laces as I just slip on and off! Better than the other brand that has slip on/off capabilities. New Balance makes a great shoe and I’m going to buy more colors! One thing to keep in mind, the sole of the shoe is not fixed inside, it’s a foam sole and it seems this style is made this way for easy washing. It’s very easy to put back in when I’m running out the door! Good travel shoes for the plane too! Very light weight!

Ok, let me preface this with the fact that I literally just got these so I’ll have to come back after a few days of wearing and update. But so far these are amazing! They are more comfortable than shoes twice their price. I’m normally a size 9.5-10 so per other reviews, and knowing that NB normally run a little narrow for me, I sized up to a 10.5wide. My left foot is just a hair smaller than my right so on that foot it’s a little looser but it’s not too bad. My right foot fits perfectly. For slip ons, they are some of their easier ones I’ve found in terms of effort of getting them on. So far I highly recommend! Just remember to size up and possibly do the wider width.

I work 12 hour shift 4-5 days a week and I am on my feet constantly, according to my fitness tracker I walk anywhere from 7-8 miles a day while I’m at work plus I’m not small and skinny, I am fluffy. I need a pair of shoes that could keep up with me and I finally found these. I swear by them if your a runner, like to exercise or just on your feet way more then you would like to be then I highly suggest buying them. I won’t work in anything else I’m sold for life

I decided to try these New Balance after reading the reviews. I'm glad I did. I have moderate-severe heel pain that resulted from a pilon facture that happened in 2019. I walk and stand alot but I would suffer heel pain afterward even with different Nike, Hey Dude, and Puma shoes. Not only did I want a stylish and good looking pair of shoes, but I needed the comfort as well. These New Balance are perfect for me! I can stand and walk with no pain. I honestly didn't think these would do as well as they have, but I love these! However, they do run a size smaller, in my opinion. I normally wear size 8.5 but I ordered a size 9, just to be safe. I prefer my toes to have a little more room in my shoe. My toes go all the way to the front of the shoe but doesn't crunch them up. Still, the comfort is awesome! They have good grip on the bottom, so no worries about slipping.

I saw these on another person and loved them so much, I ordered a pair for myself. Unfortunately, didn’t love them so much on my foot. They were comfortable and true to size and provided reasonable support, though not as much support as my other NB. The problem for me was the appearance on MY feet. Obviously, my size is much bigger than the other gal who wore them so well. They make my size 9 1/2 feet look huge—ok—I know 9 1/2 IS big, but these shoes seemed to make them look even beggar—mostly because of the white sole which extends out the back of the show. I returned. The “Try before you buy” option was great!

These look good! I bought to be ‘nice-er’ sneakers to wear out and about vs my actual workout sneakers. They look good but are just ok on comfort. Not the cloud cushion so many sneakers have now. They are normal width but I’d say run slightly small. I’m an 8.5 with narrow to med foot. I probably could have done a 9 and maybe would have been a bit better comfort. The real issue I have is the high back rubs my Achilles when I wear short athletic socks. Overall I like them for what I bought them for.
