I prefer a toe that's a bit more pointed, but the rounder toe is certainly not a flaw. I previously had the Fresh Foam V1 and loved them. These will make you seem taller! I use Sole arch support insoles and these are not as "deep" as the V1, but wore in too fit within a few days. Will buy again.

    • Great shoes, weird shipping.
Let me open by saying my only two complaints, are on the shipping carrier, and Amazon for false advertisement on shipping. Amazom supposedly fulfilled this order, not a third party, and the shoebox came in a plastic mailer pouch, that looked fine, but the shoebox looked like it was jumped In a back alley by a gang of Nikes! That, and instead of getting them in two days like I pay for Prime to get, they arrived over three days late when my intent was to take them on my vacation. Oh well. On to the good! The shoes! I've been turned on to New Balances for just under a year and they've been amazing for all the standing, walking and biking I do. They are one of the only shoe makers that consistently has stylish options in my abnormal size (15 men, occasionally wide or extra wide). To say these shoes are comfortable is an understatement. My first time wearing them I had odd feelings when driving my truck...because I wasn't accustomed to the massive amount of support and shock absorbing foam! I know it sounds clichéd, but for the first week or so as I got accustomed to them, I felt like I was bouncing on a cloud with every step. The feeling is still there, I'm just more used to it now. I've been wearing these for the last two weeks or so now, and they've held up tremendously, and continue to be extremely comfortable for my day to day. For the price point, I will probably buy another pair, maybe if I can find another color combo because comfortable, stylish, budget friendly shoes in my size are incredibly difficult to come by. My only complaint is that with only two weeks in of wear, the sides of the sole om the inside of my feet has started to wrinkle, but that may just be part of how they wear, or my own feet. Purchased on sale, recently had foot surgery. Usually add additional insoles. Not needed. Very comfortable. I refer to these extra cushy lovelies as NB's version of another popular do-it-all athletic shoes that have four letters and start with an H and end with an A. Highly recommend. These shoes are super light and comfortable. I walk/jog about 25 miles a week. These are very light and comfortable to wear as a running shoe or as a walk around shoe. I may also add, I have a bunion that runs on certain shoes. With this shoe, I can walk and run all day and it doesn’t bother me. I did order the wide width shoe but I think I needed just the retail size rather than the width. I definitely think these shoes are in the same conversation if not better than Hoka shoes at half the cost!!! ... show more

Love NB shoes. In fact I sent these back and ordered a different pair. The issue? It as like walking on an elevated block of something. Soles look thick on the side, and they are. That curved up back too makes you be careful not to tip backwards too much. Love their shoes but not this one.
