After allowing time for the reeds to prime. This doesn’t deliver much of a smell. I’m using it in my apartment bedroom. Which isn’t very big. I obsess over the smell bamboo. I use it in my bathroom and living room. I can smell it as soon as I walk in the door. But this charcoal woods. I can’t smell it even when I sniff closely. Looks stunning. This is a really fancy diffuser set, would make an attractive housewarming gift for anyone! The smell is very nice- not too overwhelming or sweet. Extremely sweet fragrances make me feel a little nauseous, so I was very pleased with the warm, subtle woodsy scent. It’s a pleasant and attractive set. I love that it came with a reusable cap so that I can just close it when traveling so we don’t waste the diffusing scent while we’re away. It’s been going strong for about a month!
