I got these for my son for school. They are required to wear uniforms and he is picky with what kind of clothes he wears. These shorts are navy and the color has held up through rough play, multiple washes, and multiple school activities. These zip up. There is a button but it's more for decoration because it doesnt loop through anything. I ordered these for my son's school uniform. Once I cleared the material with the principal he wore them. He lives the performance material which is different from the stiff khaki shorts. These are some quality kids shorts. I ordered them for my son and they're very well made and will last as long as you need them too. They fit well and even have some adjustability in the waistband. Great buy!

My son 6,5 and we got size 7 and they waaaaaay too small for us and it’s disappointing considering we need uniform for upcoming school year. My son is average built and waist just didn’t work at all, we couldn’t button it. Of course quality is great and material is perfect but it really doesn’t matter since we can’t wear them so they going to the “grow up” box and hopefully my youngest son can wear them in few years.     • Great uniform shorts with a lot of adjustability
Size: 7 Color: Navy
These are really nice uniform shorts for a little kiddo. They fit as expected (or little one is growing out of his size 6s and into 7s and these are just a touch big which is what we expected) and can be adjusted at the waist (there's an internal band you can tighten or loosen) so we can get them to fit properly. There are also belt loops if you prefer to go that route or if your school requires it. The closure is a standard zip and button arrangement which is fine for little hands and the feel of the fabric is really nice (sort of like adult dress pants but a bit more durable than that - and machine washable which is nice). The shorts do feel like they are well put together / the stitching is quite good and they should last until they're outgrown (or it gets to be too cold to wear shorts - and then he outgrows them during the winter) even for one who is pretty hard on their clothes. The color is a true navy blue and should fit most dress codes. Price isn't bad for the brand/quality/item you're getting - certainly you can spend more or you can spend less but here you get a good item for a good price and there's nothing wrong with that. So if you have a kiddo that needs uniform shorts for the school year, these are great ones to try out. Give them a try today! ... show more

I have ordered a size 12 Husky for my 12-year-old son who is on the skinny side of the spectrum thinking he would grow into it. However, I was shocked to see that this was way too small for him.
