The floor mats didn't arrive separated for me, but bundled into a package with some plastic security screws that aren't too hard to remove by hand. The mats have that typical plastic/metallic smell that comes with any car mat you see in any retail store, and that smell isn't too strong—so if you're going to place the mats in your car immediately after you get them, the smell isn't going to diffuse throughout the cabin. The smell isn't too strong either, at least for me. The beige color shown in the photo is a little darker than the actual product's beige color. Keep in mind that the color is especially brighter when a yellow car light shines on it. As with nearly all car floor mats, these mats contain a lead warning due to California's Prop 65 law. So you shouldn't be too worried about this warning when purchasing car mats. Be sure to wash your hands after handling this product, as the powdery (probably the lead) substance on the car mat clings after touching it. ADDENDUM (3/31/19): I've added a photo so that you can see how bright the beige color actually is compared to the listing photo. So far, I've used this product for 4 weeks on my 2005 Toyota Camry. The beige color has remained intact and the mats have removed water as quick as what you'd expect from a rubber car mat. Through regular use of my car, the smell petered out in roughly 1 1/2 weeks. I sent a question to seller if they fit my model vehicle (Ford Escape 2018) in which they responded Dear Don't worry Yes they fit. NO they 100% DO NOT FIT. There was zero chance even if I trimmed the heck out of them...There was no way at all these mats would fit. Bad business practice just telling customers their product would work. These were for a 2019 Chevy Traverse, which was specified in the drop down menu. These were purchased because of price and quality They are heavy duty and fit fine except for the driver's side which has an obtrusive foot rest on the left side. The "weather TECH" MATS are fine but more costly. These will suffice for now and will serve the purpose. ... show more

These are good placemats. They are easy to clean and look good on the car. Mine are a little dirty because I wanted to see if they held up. They are awesome and catch all the dirt in my car. The only thing I don't love about this product is the back seat covers are really small. But the front ones are more important to me. So I didn't mind, and I was able to cut the mat so it would go around the left foot support step in my car. (2014 toyota corolla) ... show more

I purchased these mats as a gift for my Mom. She owns a 1997 Toyota Camry, which is in excellent condition with the exception the floor mats. Her prior Mats were the standard factory carpet mats; which did little to protect the floors from the extreme weather conditions (e.g. rain, snow, mud and dirt) in her state. I was searching for an all weather mats, when I found the Motor Trend mat. I was apprehensive at first but the price was great and the photos made them look GOOD! Well not only was the fit perfect the quality was great and they looked better in person. My MOM couldn’t stop ranting and raving about how nice they looked. I highly recommend these mats… Great Value, excellent quality and the LOW PRICE is the cherry on top. These mats fit almost perfectly in my 2021 Kia Seltos. I had to cut the driver mat to fit around the hump but that’s no big deal. They fit great and I love the pop of red. They seem very durable! Would recommend!

They look great but, they won't stay put. They have little small ridges on the bottom that don't do the trick. I would have returned them but, my wife liked the way they looked. She drives her Tahoe about once a week. I ordered some on here that say they have a "claw" to hold them in place. We'll see when I get them. ... show more

    • Had to Cut Weird to Fit my Lancer

They say they fit a Mitsubishi Lancer, but they really don't. You have to cut into all sorts of places you're not supposed to cut to make them fit. (Lancer mats are shaped so strangely). With that said, I was able to cut these mats in weird ways (including cutting off enough of the blue) to make it work. They look very nice now that they're finished. ... show more
